Ohne deinen Kaffee geht gar nichts?

Hello everyone, I think this is a topic that many, many people are interested in and that's why I'm sharing this video.
The thumbs up is super great for me and of course also if you subscribe to my channel.
It's about coffee and how you can enjoy it healthily.
So we'll just start by telling you that Germans drink an average of 160 litres of coffee a year.
So that's quite a lot. I would say that's an average of half a litre of coffee per day.
And you can count the children and those who don't drink coffee. So that's a lot.
And with that, coffee is also the cult drink and one that most people can't get out of their daily lives.
There are advocates and critics of this coffee pleasure.
For me, the dark side of coffee is that pleasure gives caffeine.
And how about decaffeinated coffee?
I think that's a good idea, but be careful.
The traditionally used method usually uses a substance called dichloromethane,
which is suspected to be carcinogenic.
Also known as methylene chloride, a close relative of chloroform, i.e. a narcotic.
It is used as a solvent for coffee and tea to remove caffeine, bitter and irritants.
And now, coffee with caffeine is not good, without caffeine is also not good.
But there is a solution. There is decaffeinated bio-coffee.
And this is produced by water vapor, which breaks open the walls of the beans and binds the caffeine.
This is a complex process.
Bio-coffee is also more expensive, but it also protects the coffee aroma.
And in general, you should only choose bio-coffee.
Even if you say, no, decaffeinated coffee is out of the question for me, I need this kick in the morning.
Still, keep listening, because in the traditional coffee cultivation there are also highly toxic substances
such as diacinone or endosulfan and others.
It is best to choose a coffee variety with little acrylamide.
This substance is perhaps still in the memory of some of you when it went through the press because of its highly toxic, cancer-causing effect.
Incidentally, it is produced in the roasting of coffee.
And the variety is really crucial here.
The Portuguese scientist Greta Alves found that the Arabica variety contains only half of the toxin compared to the Robusta variety.
So, Arabica, remember, starts with A and should always be the first option for a good coffee.
But it also depends on the type of roasting.
In fast roasting, the beans are roasted at 400 degrees Celsius for about 1.5 minutes,
which leads to a high acid content of the coffee, which can actually be noticed in the stomach.
Therefore, slower roasting methods are better, in which the coffee is roasted for 25 minutes at a maximum of 230 degrees Celsius.
And one last tip from me.
Cold brewed coffee.
This is still a rather unknown type of preparation.
But it makes a lot of sense and is a secret tip among coffee connoisseurs.
Because with hot water, the aroma substances are dissolved much faster.
Also due to this new chemical compound, which can lead to a loss of natural aromas at the same time.
In the cold brewing process, the aroma is spared.
The coffee taste is more intense and contains a much lower acid content.
In addition, cold brewed coffee contains only two thirds of the caffeine of normal brewed coffee.
And how to do it exactly, I'll describe it to you now, but you can also find the description in writing under my video.
So, you take 100 grams of your favorite coffee, preferably, we learned that, Arabica,
and add half a liter of cold water, preferably, purified water.
Then you stir it well and leave this water at room temperature overnight.
And then you pour the coffee through a fine sieve and then through an unbleached coffee filter.
And you can use this concentrated coffee in the next two weeks when you store it in the refrigerator.
And now you want a cup of coffee?
Then take 50 milliliters of this approach and add 150 milliliters of hot water.
And enjoy your much healthier, hot, cold-brewed coffee with a little less caffeine.
I wish you a lot of fun and if you already know this process and have experience and if you are a coffee enthusiast at all,
then write to me below which variety you like best and whether you already know this cold brew.
Thank you so much for listening.
