Bakterien Gesund, Darm Gesund, Mensch Gesund.

Welcome, dear viewers, here in our format Nature Medicine.
A very well-known word, intestinal rehabilitation, will also be at the center of our show today.
Why do you need intestinal rehabilitation and what does this have to do with the strengthening of the immune system?
I would like to discuss this briefly with a biochemist today and give you a few instructions.
Stay tuned, we'll get started after the intro and I hope we can do something good with it. See you soon.
Yes, here we are again and now I can introduce you to my guest and show you.
A lecturer at the Fachhochschule, a biochemist, Matthias Birnstiel.
Welcome, dear Matthias.
Good day.
Let's get started, it's actually a big topic.
It has become a big topic, so during my training as a naturopath it was not a topic at all,
but the introduction of the food industry and artificial food has become a huge problem,
and today more than half of the people in society in Germany and Switzerland have a problem with their intestines.
The intestine is an important organ, where all the basic substances, all the nutrients are absorbed.
But from the evolutionary point of view, it was not a problem until now,
but today the human intestine looks like a chimney, it is rusted and a lot of substances can no longer be absorbed.
This is caused by a lack of nutrients, a lack of micronutrients,
this is the story of HPU, of course, and so on.
And today we know that 80% of all immunological cells are located in the intestine,
that is, along the entire intestine, the stomach, the small intestine and the big intestine,
and it was simply neglected.
Until the 1930s, the intestine was not taken so seriously,
and today it has always become a huge topic, also in gastroenterology and so on,
and today it is clear from intestinal mirrors and so on that most of the intestines of humans are dirty,
the cause of this would also be the enormous number of thick intestinal tumors,
i.e. malignant intestinal cancer,
which is currently in second place in Western Europe,
besides prostate cancer in men and breast cancer in women,
in my time it was in 16th, 17th, 18th place,
and this has a cause, the cause is today's diet, today's way of life,
these additives, all this dirt that we have to eat
when we are presented with food in the industry,
and when you look at the intestine, it is like a wall,
and this wall is made up of bacteria,
bacteria that promote many digestive processes,
and many immunological processes are controlled there,
so that the body can actually select what is good in addition to the liver, and so on,
and the use of antibiotics has also been underestimated for a long time,
that is, antibiotics are aimed at life,
before an antibiotic is absorbed by the body,
it has to go through the wall, the bacterial protective wall,
and makes holes in it and is killed,
that is, someone who takes antibiotics for a longer period of time,
and his intestine looks like Emmentaler cheese,
and so on, and this has consequences, this has simply been underestimated,
so antibiotics yes, but only if necessary, and as little as possible in the short term.
But I keep asking myself, you know, so many animals get antibiotics,
and if you only eat the flies, is the antibiotic removed,
or do I take the antibiotic
and ultimately continue the promotion of Emmentaler?
It goes so far that there are antibiotics in the sewers,
a cemetery was renovated in the Upper Zürcher Ohr,
so they were opened and dead people were found there,
for 10-20 years, they were not mutated,
so they were full of antibiotics, even the bacteria said, no, no, we don't eat that,
we can laugh, the antibiotics are tragic, and so on,
and it is simply a bit super-bagatellized,
and it says in every textbook in the department,
no antibiotic therapy without a very clear diagnosis,
and today it is not, why are antibiotics distributed?
The latest thing in the dental industry,
so only a week before the dentist's appointment,
you get the antibiotic,
and preventively the healing process and the inflammation process.
It can't be, it can't be, right?
So I would say, if you work cleanly, you don't need antibiotics and so on, right?
Because people are like that, we are also immune-weakened at the moment,
due to environmental influences and so on, our immune system is very weak.
So you have to counteract that with food supplements,
and the bacteria, we have to imagine that there are billions of bacteria,
so our body has ten times more bacteria on average than our body has cells,
so we have 100 billion cells, so there are a trillion bacteria in our body,
and they are extremely small, and they have an enormous protective effect on our skin,
protection function, and people have the feeling that they have to shower 50 times,
they have to apply something, and then they have skin rash and so on.
I can still say disinfection warning, right?
The problem is, the bacteria don't like one thing,
they have, so evil bacteria, the pathological bacteria,
we can't discuss them, 99% of the bacteria are fine,
so we need bacteria in the food industry,
there is no wine and beer production without bacteria,
or cheese and so on and so on,
and the bad ones, the body has made a mistake,
there are bacteria that form an acid,
and most of them, except for tuberculosis,
they don't like one thing, an acidic environment,
so the body tries to make the surface of the body slightly acidic from the point of view of evolution,
pH 5, 5.5, right?
And then I have no problem,
if I do that with the wrong shampoo, with the wrong soap and so on,
then I disturb this misconduct.
The same...
Wait a minute, there are also people who have alkaline creams,
they would actually massively disturb this acidic environment.
Yes, but then there are the liposomes,
what do I mean, do I want to penetrate the skin surface?
So if you do that in the long run, it's not...
So it's a huge market, of course,
but nothing has gone bad.
Yes, because Basel already sounds good, it's always positive, but not everywhere.
No, you shouldn't...
Short-term or very good,
but they have the feeling that they have to do it 2-3 times and so on,
and so it is also in the intestine,
the intestinal tube, in the intestinal tube we have a neutral pH,
that's very important, right,
and on the intestinal wall, directly on the intestinal wall,
we have an acidic milieu,
which means that this milieu is not optimal for pathological germs,
that is, as soon as they approach the wall, they can no longer multiply,
that is, in principle, the antibacterial protection of the body, right,
we have an antibiotic in the saliva, many people don't know that,
we have an antibiotic in the saliva,
we often have,
in the mouth we are not allowed to have an acid,
otherwise it will attack the teeth,
an antibiotic is put in the saliva,
so that the bad ones, the sick ones, are killed,
we don't actually have an infection in the mouth,
that's the first front,
exactly,
and who does this, who makes this acid,
with women, the vaginal tract is slightly acidic,
so that there is no infection,
who makes this acid,
from the point of view of the revolution, there are bacteria,
the so-called lactobacillus-forming bacteria,
these are called lactobacillus or bifidobacillus,
they produce a slightly acidic milieu,
they are on the skin,
they are in the vaginal tract,
and they are also in the intestines,
these are the lactobacillus,
we have in the intestines,
I don't know the number, but
over 200 different bacterial strains,
and most of them,
most of them are healthy, they are just there,
they cover the whole wall,
and there are 8 to 12 strains,
they are supposed to have a so-called symbiotic effect,
they produce acids,
they get the food from us,
the so-called prebiotics,
but only if there is dog food in it,
they don't like sweet drinks and such,
they have to add probiotics and prebiotics,
and as a thank you,
they protect the intestinal wall against bad bacteria,
and in the thin intestine there are the lactobacillus,
and in the thick intestine there are the bifidobacillus,
but these are of course huge quantities,
it's a pleasant topic,
the cow for example,
the cow consists of only one third of bacteria,
one third of grinded thin intestine mucous membranes,
and one third of ballast substances,
in principle, the body does not excrete any nutrients,
a healthy intestine does not excrete any nutrients,
only what is indigestible,
and the bacteria have to be constantly renewed, renewed, renewed, renewed, renewed,
okay,
and now, because of our very bad nose and so on,
the microbiome, the intestinal wall, is disturbed,
and the intestinal wall is hollow,
and today most people try to fix this with intestinal restoration,
these are cures that are made,
and in the past a few million people have achieved this,
this is the first microbiotic that is introduced,
which is said to be biofluorine,
it has about 70 million bacteria per unit,
so per dose,
but that's peanuts today,
so that's 70 million,
that's absolutely nothing,
absolutely nothing like a yogurt,
bifidobacillus or lactobacillus,
there is more yogurt in it,
but it is paid for by the health insurance company,
and people take it because it is paid for by the health insurance company,
because the microbiotics are very, very cheap,
and today, because of our very, very bad nose,
which really destroys the intestinal wall,
billions of units are needed,
and not only from one bacterial tribe,
also the cocktail,
we don't know which bacterial tribe is missing in my intestine and my big intestine,
then you add different bacterial tribes,
8 to 10 in total,
then the body can use those that it needs to fill the holes
of antibiotics, which are caused by other drugs,
then you make a cure,
and we are now in the fortunate situation
that we have the highest-dosed microbiotics,
so there are up to 60 billion bacteria per unit, per capsule,
and this is very successfully used for people
who have taken antibiotics for a long, long time,
the intestinal wall is like a Emmentaler cheese,
with Morbus Crohn, Diverticulose, Diverticulitis,
with the intestinal problems,
which are also used by gastroenterologists more and more,
so that the high-dose gastrointestinal fluid is transferred with a high-pressure cleaner,
you put it in, and so on.
60 billion bacteria per capsule, that's crazy,
and what different bacterial tribes?
There are always 4-5 Lactobacillus in it,
and the others are Bifidobacteria,
and if you buy Bifidobacteria yoghurt, for example,
then you make a joy in the big intestine,
and if you take a Lactobacillus yoghurt,
Lactobacillus, as they are called here in Germany and Switzerland,
then you make a joy in the small intestine,
but if you have a super intestine, then both have to be in it,
because the Lactobacillus bacteria feel more comfortable in the small intestine,
and the Bifidobacteria feel more comfortable in the big intestine,
but both produce a lactic acid,
so that the wall, where the crucial processes for the absorption take place,
there is a slightly acidic milieu.
The body cannot do it itself,
so it is dependent on help from outside,
and that was not a problem for so long
before the food industry took over,
and that has become a topic.
And everything is pasteurized and broken down.
Everything is pasteurized, refined, and so on, and so on,
and that was not planned in the revolution,
it was not planned.
And the constant antibiotic, which is killed again,
and on the other hand has to be added again.
And you have to say, I have nothing against antibiotics,
if you use it properly and deliberately,
but there is no textbook
that you have to give antibiotics prophylactically.
In my opinion, that is completely wrong.
I once asked an anthroposophic doctor
if he could do something good for the world,
what would he prescribe to them?
And he told me he would prescribe bacteria to them.
I thought there was going to be D3 or Omega 3.
No, no, he was talking about bacteria.
Now I also know why, right?
And it goes even further.
This was also not invented by me.
80% of all diseases occur in the intestine.
That's why it's a healthy intestine.
In my opinion, it is very, very, very important in today's time.
And that was simply underestimated and underestimated.
And that's why they are doing very, very well.
And especially people with severe intestinal problems
and especially with intestinal cancer.
No one once asked,
why don't my intestinal tumors grow so massively?
This has already been filmed with our food,
with medication and so on and so forth.
At some point, the intestine has had enough.
Then it capitulates and then you get this disease.
I don't know how many.
Intestinal cancer is one of the worst.
The diagnosis of intestinal cancer is disgusting.
You can't even think about writing a will.
It's just not taken seriously.
They do chemotherapy.
That's why you should give chemotherapy and stentherapy to people
to do a clean intestinal healing.
Especially with 8 antibiotics.
Always cows, they are not lifelong.
Make a cow a month.
So I personally do it too.
I do intestinal healing for myself twice a year.
I had a professor here, Fähnrich.
Was that Professor Fred Fähnrich?
He once noted in his intestinal examinations
and found that it is the best health prevention
that can be done.
He didn't rely on a capsule,
but on effective microorganisms.
EMs are also a bacterium in culture,
which always forms a nice thick layer of mucus.
Nothing gets through this intestine,
nothing gets into the blood,
which is not only preventable of disease,
but also preventable of aging.
Because much less oxidizing processes get into the blood.
That's the best health and the cheapest health prevention
that can be done at all with bacteria.
It's nice to hear that again from you today.
I understand that.
At some point we just have to do it
and not just talk about it.
Yes, that's right.
And as I said, 80% of the diseases
occur in the intestine.
That's what everyone should know.
Enlightenment is incredible.
And that is simply massively underestimated.
I'm not the youngest anymore.
I've never taken an antibiotic in my entire life in Geneva.
I refuse to take antibiotics.
If I had a brain infection or lung infection,
I would immediately talk about it.
But today they are distributed like sauce.
And the pharmaceutical industry is not able
to produce new antibiotics.
It doesn't pay off anymore.
We won't have it for a long time.
Antibiotic resistance is pretty strong.
Yes, yes.
But there are really nice hopes here.
There is a study in a hospital in Munich.
Antibiotic-resistant germs were treated with EM.
That's interesting.
EM?
With effective microorganisms.
Bacteria.
Effective microorganisms?
Yes.
A harmonious field of bacteria was placed
on antibiotic-resistant germs.
And they were found to be very peaceful.
Okay.
Nature was treated with nature.
Instead of violence, chemistry,
and disinfectants,
which make bacteria even more aggressive,
they were just harmonized.
Gently.
That's the big difference.
In school medicine, hammer methods are used.
In natural medicine, gentle methods are used.
It doesn't work that fast,
but in the medium and long term,
it leads to success.
People often have no patience.
Before they go to the doctor,
they have to be healthy.
There has to be a change of mind.
And then there's the money, of course.
It always plays a big role.
And people are just clairvoyant.
The gods in white and so on.
Although I have to say,
I have a lot of contact with young doctors.
There has already been a change of mind.
They already think.
In natural medicine,
they are very positively involved.
But again, one capsule is worth 60 billion.
60 billion.
I've never heard anything like that before.
That's it.
It doesn't work anywhere.
Especially with people with long-term
antibiotic therapy,
such as Morbus Crohn,
diverticulitis, and so on.
The feedback is very, very positive.
I always say to my crew,
wait.
Often people have diarrhea.
And I say, look, it works.
It works, doesn't it?
Make sure you take it further.
Because you can't hurt yourself.
The bacteria are not absorbed by the body.
If all the holes are clogged,
the rest is simply excreted.
I'm just wondering,
with a histamine intolerance,
or a light intolerance to histamine,
shouldn't the gut be able to
cope with the addition of bacteria?
Yes, the histamine intolerance
is missing in these fields.
I always see certain enzymes,
or digestive enzymes,
that are made directly on site in the gut.
There is also a clotting,
with the ax.
The enzymes make that
from the pancreas.
Crystals are made from a stone block.
The crystals go into the gut,
and are formed locally.
Enzymes are made together.
And they are processed.
There is what is called
diamino oxidase,
an enzyme that splits histamine.
Fish, for example,
that stinks, or pizza,
or old wine,
contains a lot of histamine.
And histamine is one of the most
potent inflammatory agents.
Everywhere where there are infections,
there is histamine.
If you put histamine on your hand,
you get an infection.
And it could be,
I guess it has something to do
with the gut flora,
that these people don't have
any diamino oxidase.
It is already formed,
but it can't get out.
Because it fogs up.
I could imagine that.
A healthy gut probably
has no intolerance to histamine.
For several years,
lactose intolerance
used to be no problem.
But with our diet,
with this pasteurized milk,
and so on,
we are always on the same topic.
Healthy, balanced diet.
And when it comes
to gut nourishment,
make sure to change your diet.
If that can be a cause.
Away from industrial food
to natural food.
From the soil to the mouth.
It would be so easy.
But people don't have time.
Cooking is a matter of life and death.
You have to go fast.
And that is just
in the medium and long term.
I see black for the next 10-15 years.
Maybe after my time.
Yes.
The medical industry
has a lot to do with it.
And they probably do a lot
to make it even more.
I see that too.
But it's nice to see a trend.
That we were actually
created from bacteria.
We are a bunch of bacteria.
And we can never
get rid of the fermentation
of a bacterium for substances.
We could never
produce that. It's a miracle.
They can also produce vitamins.
All B-vitamins.
A healthy gut also produces
such things.
I don't stop my body.
There is always a shortage.
When I see a doctor.
We are in this situation right now.
More and more people
are in this situation.
Micro-nutrients shortage etc.
I could imagine
that you add bacteria
regularly.
Actually for a lifetime.
Because on the other hand
I do enough things in my life.
We eat what kills bacteria.
And in the end
we need them.
Because gut, brain, axon.
Healthy gut, healthy human.
That's already known.
I could imagine that this would be a recipe.
And also antibiotics.
In Switzerland, antibiotics
are prohibited in animal husbandry.
But every meat we import
can be tested
with antibiotics.
In Switzerland, not Swiss meat?
In Switzerland, no.
Antibiotics are not allowed.
No? I didn't know that.
I thought so.
I don't know exactly
how it works.
I don't know how long it takes
until it is slaughtered.
But if you import meat
from Hungary
it can be tested with antibiotics.
It can be tested with pesticides.
It is often
just in general.
I don't know.
If one dog is sick,
everyone has to be treated.
Yes, unfortunately.
I don't know how it works
in animal husbandry.
But there are strict rules
in Switzerland.
I don't know about Germany.
The EU is stricter than Switzerland.
But also
the industry.
Especially pesticides
and weeds.
It destroys a lot
of bacteria.
In Switzerland,
it is more and more
about money.
Unfortunately.
At the expense of health.
I can repair it with a lot of money.
Yes, of course.
But you have to
communicate.
Not everything the industry does
is bad.
But is it necessary?
The dispute
between school medicine
and natural medicine
is not necessary.
The bridge is still missing.
Yes, the bridge is missing.
But it will come.
I am very confident that it will come.
Especially with young doctors
it is already there.
They also learn it in training.
I haven't heard anything about it yet.
Only chemistry.
Thank you very much.
This was Matthias Birnstil.
For you, dear viewers,
professors at the university
and biochemists.
I hope I was able to
sweeten or show you
that bacteria are not always bad.
On the contrary.
Without them, there would be no life.
I wish you all the best.
See you next time.
