Now we're going to build sentences. 我爱游泳。 我爱画画。 画。 Two identical words here. They are different in the sense that the first is a verb and the second is a noun. 我爱打球。 我爱运动。 我爱做饭。 Now let's practice saying it. 我爱唱歌。 我爱游泳。 我爱画画。 我爱打球。 打 is a little tricky. It means hitting or beating most of the time. But in this scenario, it means playing. We can find some sad patterns in Chinese. Whenever you see 提手旁, the character is often a verb. 球 means ball.
