And yet there is someone less well-known and more powerful, that is a visa student from mainland China who hook up with the second most wealthy man. Let's first talk about the billionaire. Forbes website says in August 2025 that 8-year-old Larry Ellison never finished college, yet his wealth is second to Elon Musk's, with a net worth of almost $290 billion. He co-founded American software giant Oracle. In 2014, he gave up CEO role after 37 years at helm. He still owns roughly 40% of the company as chair of board and chief technology officer. He is a big Trump supporter. The president announced a major new AI initiative in January 2025, where Ellison's company Oracle and others will invest $500 billion over the next four years. Besides work, he also enjoys his vacations. In 2012, he bought an island in Hawaii for $300 million, turning it into a resort for the ultra-wealthy. The tech mogul had many relationships. Marrying five times and divorcing five times, University of Michigan made headlines in 2024 saying that Larry is in a relationship again. His most recent partner is 33-year-old Jolene. They are 47 years apart in age, meaning Jolene is much younger than Ellison's daughter. The university thanked Larry and his wife Jolene for providing invaluable guidance and financial resources. The couple spent $12 million to flip No. 1 recruit Brian Underwood away from LSU. Larry can easily spend millions of dollars to help Michigan team win championships. Why did he do that? That's because Jolene graduated from the university. Jolene says, I'm a big fan of University of Michigan and Michigan athletics. We're excited to support our student athletes so that they can compete at the highest level in college sports. She's reportedly from Shen Yun, a major city in mainland China, where she attended a local language school. And her father is the CEO of a medical company in Liaoning with family assets over 100 million yuan. That's why she could afford to come to the U.S. as a visa student. She graduated from Bard College in 2009, then received a bachelor's degree in international studies from University of Michigan in 2012. Allison watched sports games together with her many times since 2018. As a U.S. citizen, she's registered to vote from the same address as Larry, a vast estate in Florida. Larry never publicly announced her identity as his wife, and the two never had a public wedding. So it's unknown whether they are common-law partners or a married couple. The key question is, if they got married, how long will it last? Let's look at Larry's romantic journey, marrying five times and divorcing five times. Among all billionaires, it seems that he has the most number of divorces. And yet, he is the second richest. So I wonder, how much did his ex-wife get?
