What better way to so-called protest against police brutality than by looting a Lululemon?
How's everybody doing? My name is Anthony Brian Logan and today we got to talk about Lululemon
Foot Locker and some other stores in Philadelphia being looted as a result or after a rally for
a police involved shooting. Let's back up a little bit here to give you the full story.
Now, an officer was charged for the shooting of Eddie Irizarry in Philly, but a judge dismissed
those charges. So as a result, there was a rally, a protest, whatever you want to call it.
Now, after this so-called rally protest or whatever, a bunch of juveniles came through
and looted a bunch of stores right there, Center City, Philadelphia. Now, as I said from the
beginning, what better way to protest against police brutality than by coming after the actual
protest and then looting a Lululemon? That's just wonderful, right? Now, we got a bunch of videos
that have come as a result of this. And if you want to see all of the videos, I will link to
everything in the description box. What we're going to do right now is check out a news story
in which a lot of these clips will be available. If you're on IG, visit a link in the bio, go to
the corresponding article on the website. You see the headline right here. Looting erupts in
Center City, spreads to other parts of Philadelphia, at least 20 arrested. Foot Locker, Apple, Lululemon
and Center City were among the stores looted on Tuesday night. So here's a news clip. Without
further ado, let's go ahead and roll it. We're searching for dozens of people who went on a
destructive and expensive rampage last night. Starting at around eight last night, 100 young
people or more went on a looting spree throughout the city of Philadelphia. Cell phone video showing
people running down Center City streets with armloads of merchandise from places like Lululemon,
the Apple store and Foot Locker at last check. Police say they made roughly 20 arrests but more
are expected. And the video that's been out there is just incredible to watch. The chaos,
not limited though to Walnut and Chestnut streets, looters also hit businesses in West Philadelphia
and the Northeast. That's where we find Action News reporter Corey Davis live in Ronhurst. Corey,
from the video, it looks like these thefts were organized. Yeah, good morning. So construction
workers who are actually working out here renovating the Roosevelt Mall, where we are
right now, say that the looters appear to have just grabbed whatever they could and made their
way out. They've been finding pieces of shoes and everything out here as well. So here is inside the
JD Sports here at the mall right now. I mean, with this kind of stuff going on in your city,
how can you operate? How can you exist as brick and mortar retail, selling anything that's not
bolted down to the actual display or behind glass? See, this is what happens in a lot of
these cities where you can't even get your basic personal hygiene items without having to go through
some glass to get it. This is, you know, the is this this is the decay of society. That's what's
going on right now. Let's keep on going. Now, mannequins are scattered everywhere. We do know
there's also surveillance cameras in there as well. Mannequins scattered everywhere and every
piece of clothing cleared off of the racks. JD Sports at the Roosevelt Mall on Cotman Avenue was
hit hard by looters last night around 1115 after the first wave of break-ins across Center City.
One of the store managers arrived this morning in shock when she got a look at the damage.
Now, people are saying, oh, why is she crying? It's not her store. Well,
she works here. So obviously, if this is going on, she's not going to be able to go to work.
So she might get kids. She might get rent. She might get other things going on. So it's like,
well, what do you do? And then some are going to say, you know, some big brain moron geniuses,
the liberals that support stuff like this, that support the soft on crime policies that has
this kind of thing going on. They'll say, well, they got insurance. So what?
Well, that's not how it works. If your car gets stolen every day, you think your insurance is
going to keep giving you a new car or keep even taking your claim seriously? At a certain point,
they're going to be like, hey, man, we got some fraudulent activity going on. We're going to
launch an investigation. You know, they're not just going to keep on allowing you to do whatever
you want to do. That's not how these things work. Let's keep on going. We spoke with a construction
worker who's helping to renovate the property and it's brand new. This is a brand new store.
So sad. It's a shame because they're putting all this money into this mall. You know what I mean?
And then, you know, stuff like this happens. It's, you know, it's a shame. Philadelphia police say
the looters used peaceful protests as an excuse to ransack stores across the city. Investigators
say the looters took advantage of the situation and were not associated with the protest. It was
being held in response to a judge's ruling to dismiss all charges, including first-degree murder
against former police officer Mark Dial, who shot and killed Eddie Irizarry last month.
Today, the owner of Dollhouse Boutique on Cotman Avenue is also assessing damage. He says looters
shattered the front window but were only able to take a few items before police intervened.
The owner says it was all captured on camera but says everyone still got away. A T-Mobile store
along the 2100 block of Cotman Avenue also got broken into. The action cam was there as officers
loaded everyone into the back of a police van. Those who protested the judge's decision to
dismiss the case due to a lack of evidence say they do not agree and believe this sheds light
on their concerns. I also think that this isn't an issue that's isolated to one individual,
Mark Dial. It's a systemic issue. It's going to happen again if we don't demand change and fight
for it now. And the district attorney's office is appealing, saying that they look to file the
exact same charges against Dial. In the meantime, a judge will have to make the ultimate decision on
that. So that's the story right there. Okay, we have a bunch of looting going on in Philadelphia
after the so-called protests. Now, there's going to be a distinction between the looters and the
protesters. They may not be the same people, necessarily. There may be some crossover. The
problem is that the people that are out there protesting will probably support the policies
that allow the looters to do whatever they want to do. And that is the problem. That is the ultimate
problem. Policy decisions in these cities that give these looters, shoplifters, whatever you
want to call them, slaps on the wrist at best. Okay, it's not a paddy wagon loaded up with the
so-called looters. Are they going to face any kind of criminal penalty? Or is it going to be
catch and release like you're going fishing? Now, what I'm going to do right now is show some of the
actual looting videos. And give me one second, it's going to be a weird cut. Here's one,
the Apple Store being looted in Philadelphia. Shout out to Citizen Free Press for reposting this.
I mean, this is so embarrassing. So embarrassing. So many black folks out here acting the fool.
And then it makes people like me look bad. People might think I'm part of this nonsense. I am not.
Anybody that's in there is still in our phones, selling any kind of Apple products.
Anyone that's involved with this at all needs to get put up under the penitentiary, man. We cannot
have society just decay like this. It can't be this way. So that's one. Okay, that's one.
Here's another one. I think this might be Lululemon. Let's check it out. Yeah, Lululemon.
Now, some are going to see stuff like, watch this. Now, some are going to see that, oh,
police brutality. Man, come on. You're in the middle of a riotous scene in Lululemon. This
right here, this little restraint hole, whatever you want to call that, is nothing. Nothing at all.
Other parts of the world, you get deleted for doing stuff like this.
I'm not saying that should happen here. I'm just saying that in comparison,
this is absolutely nothing.
And then the officers, they are kind of overwhelmed because there's so many of these
people looting and there's so few with them. So what are you to do? And then you heard the man
earlier that was working in construction. He was saying these are brand new buildings. I'm not
quite sure if this particular store was new, but at least the one store that he was in front of
was new. So you try to, you get this weird thing going on. People say they want development. They
want economic opportunity. They want jobs. And then when they bring them, this is what happens.
This is the things you get. It doesn't make any sense. So what's going to end up happening is
these places will move far away from where you live. You will not have the opportunity
economically. You're just going to be left in squalor and despair and then cry about stuff
like white flight and everything else. But I digress. I'm getting triggered. And there's the
Apple store. This is Foot Locker. This is Foot Locker. Center City 15th and Chestnut.
Oh, so poor. We're so poor. We're so living in poverty. Loading up vehicle,
loading up vehicles full of stolen merchandise. We're so poor.
So we're still in liquor. Okay. That's what we're doing. We're still in liquor.
Okay. So that's what's going on. I had enough. I've had enough. I have had enough.
I, man, oh man, oh man. That's what's going on. Philadelphia. Hey, if it was me, if I could just
be the king, just do whatever I want to do. Rubar Fia, I would say, you know what? Anybody
that does anything like this, disrupting social order, man, man, you going straight to the
penitentiary. Big rocks, little rocks. I don't care. We're not going to do all this soft on crime
and compassionate policing. Ain't nobody got time for that, man. Nobody has time for this.
You got people that want to come to the city and be tourists. They might live in the area,
enjoy a nice night out. Like I was reading one part as I closed, I was reading the thing where
they said that someone was at a kitchen and bar or something like that. One of those restaurants,
nice little restaurant, enjoying a night out. And then they're seeing a little limit get ransacked
right behind them. Just like going to LA, you're trying to enjoy a nice night downtown or somewhere
eating outside. And then you got some crackhead acting the fool, throwing stuff at you. Don't
nobody got time for that. People are going to abandon these places, take all the jobs and
their money with them. And then those who are out there having a good time acting the fool
are going to be like, well, where's all the jobs? Where's that opportunity? You had the jobs,
the opportunity, and you simply ran them away with your ridiculous ignorant behavior.
But I think I'll leave that right there for now. And what say you, what's your take on what's going
on here in Philadelphia with the looting and the carrying on? What is the solution? Like I say,
you ask me, if you ask me, I say, anyone who does a thing like this, you go into the penitentiary,
there's going to be a stiff penalty. I mean, five years off top, you want to be involved in
mob action, riotous action, five years, mandatory minimum. You got to be tough on crime because if
you're not, it's going to continue because people think that there's gonna be no penalty. I could do
whatever I want to do. So I'm gonna do whatever I want to do. That's how it goes. But whatever
your thoughts are, please let me know in the comments below. And that's all I got to say for
this video. If you like what you heard, please comment, rate, share, and subscribe. Peace.
