How To Build a Blanket Ladder - Pottery Barn Style
Be sure to SUBSCRIBE and smash that LiIKE button.
Every year my family does a hand made gift swap. This year, my wife's contribution was a blanket ladder. She always asks me to make two so she can keep one and gift the other. I was a little behind getting hers to keep made this year!
This video shows how to make the ladder step-by-step (pun intended).
You will need to purchase:
3 - 3/4" x 2 1/2" x 96" (commonly called a 1x3x8)
Other supplies you may already have:
Wood Glue - I prefer Titebond 2 or 3
1 1/4" Kreg Screws
Wood Stain
Cut List:
2 - 72" boards
6 - 17" boards
You can usually pay a big box store to cut these lengths for you but in my experience they have less attention to detail than you will so I recommend cutting them yourself.
