Hello my dears and welcome to a new video.
We take you through our everyday life again.
And this time I also filmed a little bit what the children do in everyday life
or what they do in the household.
Because yes, I have eight children and I do a lot,
but the kids help regularly.
That's not just a relief for me.
We are a family of ten and of course that's a relief for me.
If the children help.
No, it's also a pedagogical education measure, let's call it that.
I find it particularly important that the children learn from an early age
what kind of tasks there are in the household.
As a young girl, although I grew up with only one brother,
I had to do a lot of things early on.
My parents were both working and my mother always called me from work
and said, Roxana, do this, do that.
I had to go shopping regularly, clean up and had different tasks.
And I think that shaped me very positively
by being able to cope very well as a young housewife or young wife at the time.
And later, when the six-year-olds were born and I had eight children in total,
I think that definitely helped me by being well-structured
and being able to manage my household.
That's why the kids do a lot of things in the household from an early age,
because at some point they will have to run their own household.
And accordingly, I think it's important that they can do all these things.
There is also no difference whether they are boys or girls.
They all have the same tasks.
For example, the kids always have to clean the dishwasher,
take care of the cats, clean the cat toilet, feed the cats.
That was a condition anyway.
I told them they wanted pets and I said, if you want pets,
then you have to take care of them.
And that's why it's their job to take care of the pets.
I think the kids are doing quite well.
They are seven children and the week has seven days.
That's why it's up to them.
I don't expect the big one, because she's the oldest.
She's already, you could say, grown up.
She already has a bit of her own tasks and that's why she doesn't need a plan.
We have such a plan in the hallway and everyone is listed there
so that no one gets confused.
That means everyone only has to clean the dishwasher once a week,
clean the cat toilet.
We usually do laundry on the weekend.
So the kids usually do more on the weekend.
Of course, they always get the laundry basket from me
and have to put their things together themselves.
So I just wash.
That means I turn on the washing machine, give the basket and the kids put it together themselves.
I don't do anything in the room either.
I don't clean there at all.
But I'm proud of myself, I have to say,
that I'm not as clingy as I was a few years ago.
I'm really more and more chilled.
I don't know why.
Whether it's because of age or ...
I don't know.
I don't know, but I imagine it.
If I had a child again, I think I would be completely different
than I was 10, 15 years ago.
I don't know.
Maybe it's just because of age that you get a little more chilled.
But as I said, if you know me personally,
if you know me personally from the past,
you know that I used to have a very, very extreme sense of cleaning.
I was actually just cleaning non-stop.
It all had to be peek-a-boo and blitz-blank.
Thank God I'm not that bad anymore.
That's why I leave the room to the kids.
It's their job to take care of it,
that they vacuum, make their beds,
and then they have to clean their windows.
So everything that goes with it.
Even if it's not as perfect as I might have made it.
Yes, laundry is a very, very big topic for us.
We are 10 people.
At the moment I have one washing machine missing.
That means I only have one.
Normally I have ...
Actually, I have two washing machines.
Now I only have one.
And accordingly, I'm a little overwhelmed with the laundry again.
But luckily, as I said, the kids help.
But for me the big problem is,
we just have a laundry basement.
And that's just not so practical,
because I always have to go up and down.
I had an old apartment,
we lived in a normal apartment,
in a duplex apartment.
And the washing machine was in the bathroom,
and the laundry basket and so on.
And accordingly, whenever I was in the bathroom
and saw that the mountains had piled up,
I automatically turned on the laundry
and hung it up right away.
That's just the way it is.
I always have to think about it.
Oh, I have to go to the basement now.
The laundry is probably done.
I have to hang it up to turn on the next one.
So I always have to go up and down.
And because you just don't see the mountains,
you tend not to go down.
Or because I have so many other things to do,
I just can't go down.
So I really have to take a look now,
maybe teach the kids a little bit
how the washing machine works
and how they organize things better.
And maybe throw on the laundry too.
But I'm a little bit afraid of that.
I think to myself,
oh, electrical appliances,
to leave such things to the children.
I don't trust that yet.
Yes, I have to take a look.
In any case, Medium also takes care of her room herself,
since she's been in that room.
So I've never done anything there.
I can't remember
that I've ever cleaned anything in this room.
But I'll put it this way.
If the kids know from an early age
that you live in a clean home,
then the kids want their room to be clean too.
So I've had that experience.
So Medium is also very, very tidy.
Her room is always tidy.
So everyone, everyone.
Okay, maybe not with the boys.
So with them,
I often go into the room
and see the clothes lying on the floor.
I'm already like that.
I say, hey, please clean up your room.
So there I notice
that I have to run after it more often.
But the girls,
they're actually like that when it comes to order.
They like that.
So they want their room to be always tidy and so on.
I don't have to be so behind that now.
I'm really very, very happy
that the kids are helping out.
Even now.
I used to have more time
to just focus on the household.
But yes, since I've been doing YouTube for you here,
it really takes a lot of time.
Even if it doesn't look like it,
it really takes a lot of time.
Especially cutting and filming.
And I always want to film a lot for you.
But you have to consider
if I do something now and I don't film,
then it's done in no time.
But if you film along,
then it costs you twice as much time.
And accordingly,
it's not always that easy.
And I also try to keep the daily routine
as structured as possible.
But I also have my phases
where I just don't feel like it
and also take time for myself.
And I think that's very, very important.
But I'm very, very proud
that all the kids always help out nicely
and help with the housework.
And I'm happy that later on
they will be able to manage their everyday life
as adults and later on their own household.
Everyone helps us where they can
and who has time at the moment.
And I'm really, really grateful for that.
Also my husband,
although we all have our own tasks.
As you can see quite often,
my husband mainly takes care of the garden.
So I really don't do anything there.
First of all, I don't have a green thumb.
I still have time for that.
But I'm very, very happy
that he has such a nice hobby.
And yes, I'm just grateful
when all the delicious vegetables are harvested
and then processed into delicious dishes.
But there is also no issue with us in the marriage,
no matter where help is needed.
And if it has to be,
then he also helps with every task in the household.
And I am very, very grateful and very happy
that our everyday life as a family is so nicely structured.
I have seen household appliances many times.
I have already introduced you to several vacuum cleaners here.
And I really use them.
But there is one device
that I really don't miss in the household.
Even if many other devices also have many advantages,
I always need such a wireless vacuum cleaner.
Not only because I have 8 children,
but also because we also have 3 cats.
It's really like this, I have to vacuum every day.
So it doesn't matter if it's after dinner
and at the dinner table, because a lot was crumbled.
Because of the cat toilet,
there is always cat litter up front.
I have to vacuum over there at least 2-3 times a day.
That's why I always need such a vacuum cleaner.
I have already bought many myself.
And many have unfortunately already gone over.
I don't know why,
but so far I have never been so satisfied with the ones I had.
The more I am happy that I can introduce you
to this wireless vacuum cleaner from Eureka today.
I have already shown you several things.
There are things that I bought myself
or things that I received for advertising purposes.
I can recommend this one to you 100%.
I was very positively surprised by this little one.
Look, I can hold it with one finger.
It is super light, but has such a nice suction power.
I was very surprised myself.
Because I already had several of very well-known brands.
And I have to say that this is no comparison to this one.
If you don't know Eureka yet,
this is a brand from the USA.
And they have been around for over 100 years.
Eureka was founded in Detroit in 1909.
That means they seem to know a lot about vacuum cleaners.
By the way, I have the slightly older model.
I will definitely link the newer model to you.
That's purple, that's updated again.
So another level better.
Super practical, especially if you have pets.
Since the brush head effectively removes skin scabs,
mites, dust and stubborn animal hair.
So also ideal for allergics.
The 5-step filtration can catch 99.9% of microparticles
with a size of only 0.3 micrometers.
The vacuum cleaner has 3 levels.
In eco mode you can use it for 60 minutes without having to charge it.
The vacuum cleaner has 450 watts.
I like the Eureka vacuum cleaner very much,
especially how light it is.
But still has super nice suction power.
And above all, it sucks everything in the corners.
Often the performance is not so good.
And then you know that when you suck,
that the corners are not taken with you so well.
Because it is so light and handy,
the children love to use it and are much more motivated
to vacuum than with a heavy device.
That's why it's very, very practical.
As I said, I always need this everyday helper.
This is really a relief.
You can write to me in the comments
how often you actually vacuum in the week.
I would be interested.
Do you prefer to say once a week,
on that day is my vacuuming day,
and then I vacuum?
Or do you also say that you have to vacuum everything every day?
Because I'm such a person,
I always walk barefoot around the house
and it bothers me totally
if I have to step on any grime or dust or cat hair.
That's why, as I said, I can't get out without such a vacuum cleaner.
And that's why I'm happy that I can introduce it to you.
Because it's also great in terms of price.
You know, I've shown you stuff before.
They were super, super expensive.
And that's why I'm happy to show you a great device here
that doesn't cost that much.
So feel free to check out the info box.
I've linked you to the newer model.
Great device. I can recommend it to you 100%.
I'm starting to cook now.
And these are the ingredients.
Namely the eggplant from our garden.
It's a little bit little.
They are relatively small.
That's why it can be.
I'll see first that I'll add a zucchini.
In any case, I cut them into thick slices
and fry them first.
And then I make a sauce out of minced meat.
But you can also, if you are vegetarian or vegan,
replace the whole thing with mountain lentils or beluga lentils.
Also tastes very, very tasty.
And then, very important, a lot of onions.
Then these hot peppers or pepperonis.
I'll take a look.
They are already relatively spicy.
I'll see if I can add a chili or not.
Then a lot of delicious fresh tomatoes.
Of course, we use everything from the garden here.
So the eggplants, the pepperonis, the chilies, tomatoes,
everything from the garden.
Garlic to it and at the end also parsley.
The whole thing is seasoned.
Paprika tomato paste is added.
My vegetable paste is added.
Now as the last step.
Only parsley.
Fresh.
I can already turn off the stove.
So I seasoned the whole thing with salt, pepper, cumin,
I put a little paprika in it.
So you can really season it as you want.
I put in Ras el Hanout.
I also like this spice mixture very much.
I'll taste it again for a moment.
I also added garlic.
I don't think I filmed that.
I'll grab another pot.
Actually a bit like a lasagna now.
I would say.
A little bit of it on the floor first.
So.
And parsley.
Yes, that's so delicious.
I'm going to make Turkish rice for that right now.
I'll show you again how I make it.
And then cucumber salad.
I think that's the perfect combination.
Yogurt goes with this dish.
So you definitely have to eat yogurt.
And that's why I make cucumber salad with yogurt right away.
So you can also do the whole thing in a casserole.
If you want, you can even bake it with cheese.
But I do it because it's such a large portion.
I like to do it in the pot.
Now I'm doing it on a low heat.
I'll just let it simmer in peace.
So that the aubergines and zucchini are through again.
They are only fried hot.
And in the meantime I make the rice.
And then both are ready at the same time.
So put the lid on and let it simmer a little longer.
For the Turkish rice, I have butter here.
Sorry, but Turkish rice without butter is not possible.
So you always have to put butter in.
I'll boil some more water in the meantime.
And then there are such rice noodles here.
So these are actually noodles.
They just look like rice.
They come in here.
They are fried until they have a brownish color.
It's actually more of an optical thing.
But I think it does make a difference.
That it tastes somehow different at the end.
I don't know, maybe it's imagination.
But yes, that's what you do here in the Turkish way.
That's how I learned it.
And as I said, they are now fried until they turn brown.
I have also rinsed the rice thoroughly.
Washed thoroughly.
It will also be fried again.
But only when the whole thing has taken on color.
When the rice noodles have taken on such a beautiful golden brown color,
we add the rice.
And it is now also fried for 2-3 minutes.
For those who don't want to use so much butter.
You can also use another oil, preferably olive oil or something.
And then at the end a splash of butter.
So when the water comes in, add another splash of butter.
When the rice is nicely fried, the boiling water is added.
For me, it's always such a matter of taste when I make Turkish rice.
It's always so hard to do that somehow by cup.
So when I make other sushi rice and stuff, I always do it like this.
That you calculate this with a cup.
That you say on 3 cups of rice, so much cup of water and so on.
But with the Turkish one, it's always like that.
Yes, that's so ... I don't know what.
A little covered rice, I'll put it that way.
In any case, the salt is now added.
Stir again.
And now the lid comes on and then I turn the stove to 3.
So mine has 9 levels.
Now I turn it to 3.
After about 15 minutes, I turn it down another level.
So to 2.
And then he pulls again for 10 minutes.
I never look at the clock.
That's why it's always so hard for me to give such a time and so on.
It's such a matter of feeling for me.
That I always know when the rice is ready.
Then I stir it once and then I see, okay, he can pull a little more.
We look after 15 minutes.
The cucumber salad, very easy.
I've shown you that often, but I'll show it again.
Simply yogurt.
I have my homemade Bulgarian yogurt here.
It's delicious.
Only the garlic.
I always put a lot in there.
The kids like it.
Salt.
Cucumber.
And actually only dill.
You can take dried dill or fresh.
Or frozen.
I have frozen at the bottom.
I just put frozen dill in there.
And then cucumber.
You can either cut it into very small cubes.
I do that too.
And then a little more liquid.
Then it's jajik.
Or just a little hobbel.
I'll do it like this.
In such slices.
What I often do is add sour cream.
Tastes very tasty too.
But it doesn't have to be sour cream.
If you have a nice yogurt, you don't need that.
But if you like it, you can add sour cream.
That's it.
I can't get in there.
It's that simple and that fast.
So that's always the side dish I make so often.
Especially because we have so many cucumbers.
And I make the yogurt myself all the time.
And that fits so many dishes that I cook.
That's why it's often served as a side dish.
Let's take a look at the rice.
As you can see, it has already absorbed all the water.
So in the cast iron pot it is somehow finished faster.
I usually made it in a stainless steel pot.
But in the cast iron pot it is already finished.
I like it.
This is what the finished Turkish rice looks like now.
And this is what the finished dish looks like now.
Yummy.
I like that.
It's my favorite food.
Yes.
It's not just eggplant, but I stretched it with zucchini.
But you can do that with everything.
Theoretically, I could also only do it with zucchini.
Or only with eggplant.
But that's very, very tasty.
And we'll have a taste of that now.
Cucumber.
Yummy.
I thought I'd show you what's left.
Because I think some people always think it looks so little.
I think a lot of things come across differently in the video.
So we ate about ten now.
And that's what's left.
A little bit of rice.
A very small piece of cucumber salad.
And a little bit of the stew.
It was so delicious.
It makes such a difference that all the vegetables in here are from the garden.
It was so, so delicious.
So many tomatoes.
Wow.
I have to process them.
I don't think we'll be able to eat it all.
There will be another load coming.
Now we're going outside and picking up the little ones.
You've seen the big ones last time.
He collected so much.
But I used a lot of them because I always put them in a lot of food.
But the little ones, I think I'd make mashed tomatoes out of them.
I'll see what they'll bring in a minute.
I just think vegetables as a decoration are just so beautiful in the kitchen.
I love it.
It just looks so beautiful.
That's it for this week.
I hope you enjoyed the video.
If that's the case, we'd be happy about a thumbs up.
Also subscribe to the channel and activate the notification bell if you haven't already.
And yes, you can write to me in the comments how often you do housework.
Is it small things every day or do you do a big cleaning once a week?
I'd be interested to know how you do it.
I'd be happy about a little exchange in the comments.
And I hope to see you again in the next video.
See you soon.
