Are you already a Vicky Sahner?
Welcome, dear viewers, to our format, Naturmedizin.
What if, in the truest sense of the word, we have our noses full again and again?
Are we susceptible to infections?
My guest today works with psychosomatic energetics.
He has a great method in which all areas are involved in a holistic way.
I'm looking forward to meeting Dr. Andreas Müller.
He's a specialist in general medicine.
His focus is holistic medicine.
We'll find out in a moment what he understands about holistic medicine and how he uses it.
Stay tuned.
Hello, dear Andreas.
Hello.
It's great to have you as our guest today.
Yes, thank you. I'm also very happy.
You've come a long way from Berlin to visit us.
I'm always happy when a doctor opens up his field
and really includes all aspects of medicine to help people.
Sometimes the term holistic medicine is a bit of a fuzzy term.
Many people use it and you don't know what's really hidden behind it.
Maybe we can just start with you telling us how you work.
Maybe also how you got into it.
Yes, I'd love to.
For me, holistic medicine means that you can make the most of everything there is to offer.
Of course, I'm a doctor and I'd like to explain to people in a healthy way
that there isn't a serious organic problem behind it.
Or not just organically, but also on the micronutrient level.
You look to see if there's something there,
if I have a full nose or if I have an infectious disease.
You look to see if there are things you can do to support it.
For me, holistic medicine means looking at it on that level.
Because the patient often comes to me and thinks,
there's something wrong with the organism.
That means I have to look at where I can pick it up.
Or what is the patient willing to do?
Or to look at it first.
And that's often the organic thing.
For me, holistic medicine means that when I've clarified that,
that you look to see if there's a problem.
I'll call it an energetic problem.
What do I understand from that?
Everyone knows the term,
I feel energetically completely weak today.
It's more of a description of a state
that I can't really attach to anything,
except in my own experience.
Like when someone pulled the plug out of the socket.
In that sense, energetic.
It's a visual description of something
that we can't describe otherwise.
That means that you look at it on that level.
Is there still something?
And how can I accompany the whole thing?
And whether I'm doing something physically
or rather in the sense of a warning.
By warning, I mean that I'm trying to
stimulate the body in different ways.
Either through needles, i.e. through acupuncture.
Or whether I work with amino acids or vitamins.
Or whether I touch someone with acupressure
or other methods that set a stimulus from the outside.
Or whether I work with electromagnetic fields,
which can definitely be healing,
not just electrosmog.
But there are also healing frequencies, in quotation marks.
Or whether I work with something homeopathically.
And that would be in the sense of psychosomatic energetics,
where we have laid down all these systems,
at least as basic thoughts.
And the psychosomatic energetics
was originally developed by Reimer Bahn.
Now almost 25 years ago.
And he developed this method
from his holistic understanding,
because he worked a lot with different methods.
And so you can also find out
how good the energy state of a person is.
You have a device for this.
This device vibrates electromagnetic impulses.
I can only describe it that way.
These are the brainwave frequencies.
There are four main frequencies.
One is the physical energy frequency,
the emotional energy frequency,
the mental energy frequency
and the so-called causal energy field,
which in principle represents or reflects
the emotional state of a person.
And you test it with the help of the device,
but do an arm muscle test
or an arm length reflex,
which was also developed by Raphael von Asche.
That means I test how the muscle system reacts
to the given stimuli
and see how the body reacts to the stimuli.
It shouldn't be bad or good,
but just a description of the state.
Then I get a value between 0 and 100,
where 100 means 100%.
So I'm in a good energetic state,
which doesn't mean I'm always doing well,
but at least I'm in a good basic state.
And what I like to do,
so that I can always check it for myself,
I'm a very good friend of my mind.
I say now, everyone has a different vibration.
And for me, I always let myself be told
by the person, not related to the gender,
but by the person
where the person would assess himself
on a scale from 0 to 100,
at least on the physical and emotional level.
And that's really always according to that.
Really?
I experience that very often.
Exciting.
Plus, minus 10 or plus, minus.
In this context.
But I always find that very exciting.
If someone doesn't find it,
then I discuss it and don't say,
yes, but that's how it is now.
But I say, okay, that's interesting.
I would interpret it this way and that way.
And often the person tells me,
yes, but I didn't dare to say that,
because I didn't want to classify myself
as bad or as good, or whatever.
And when I explain that,
what it means in the interpretation,
and I just say, well,
there are differences here.
I've tested this way and that way.
And often the patients
just feel very picked up.
Yes, absolutely.
And are so happy that someone
can also show that.
That I can make it visible
that they are really not doing so well.
Or in the course of time,
that they feel much better.
So it also does something with people.
And then you kind of have a kind of
door opener for it,
that you say, okay,
this is a trust-building measure,
because it almost corresponds to the state.
And often you have done all the
investigations beforehand.
That is also important to me,
because I can only support the system
energetically.
So I can support it organically,
but if there is something organic,
then I think that you have to work
on the organic level first,
so that the rest is also in healing.
And healing, I mean,
the whole, from the English
whole, so to see this whole.
And not just healing in the sense of
a religious or other idea.
And I think that's so nice,
that this is an important step
in the sense of,
yes, there is something to see.
And not just all laboratory values
are in order,
all imaging procedures,
everything has been done,
everything was in order.
Nevertheless, I just feel like
someone has pulled the plug
out of the socket.
It touches me very much how you
take this very humanly,
that is, the human being
really seriously,
by taking his assessment
and his intuition
really seriously
and really bringing the human being
into it, but also to really
clarify the concern
whether something is somatic
and whether he really does it step by step.
And I think then people
are really open.
Because I think if you didn't do
these clarifications,
then there is always the fear,
did I overlook something?
And I think if you do these steps
one after the other,
now when I hear that,
then I feel that it is so careful
and then every step is actually right.
And in the end,
if the person does not feel
that he can not measure in school medicine.
That's the way it is.
And that's just the way it is in my experience.
And as they always say,
every therapist
attracts his
people he
treats.
And I think
at least those who come to me,
they expect me to do that
and I also like to follow them.
So I want to be able to look at myself
in the mirror and I don't want to
have to blame myself.
I didn't clarify everything here.
And of course we are humans
and sometimes you have your own
imagination very quickly,
like something to be.
I am also just a human being, for God's sake.
And then I also think very quickly
because we are so strict.
And then to take that out again
and then to say
it's good to have ideas,
but then to take that out again
and then to say
now I'll just take a look.
I can put it away
and say,
okay, now I've opened all the drawers
where I could categorize it.
And now I'll just take another look
and open the look again.
Whether I didn't think of something
,
also on the school medicine side,
or that I say,
we can take a look now.
So we're relaxed now,
we can go in that direction now.
What I would like to know very much, of course,
how did you get there?
Because I think it's always like that,
we briefly discussed this in advance,
I always find it so remarkable
when a school physician
really takes another step
and works on the holistic
for himself or studies.
And I always find that very touching
and also very exciting
how you got there.
Yes, well,
during my studies,
there is only the school medicine,
in quotation marks.
And then I just
took it that way for myself.
That was not a question at all.
And it was often laughed at
when someone talked about homoeopathy
or even about naturopathic things.
That was really laughed at.
It was always like,
yes, then you can work homoeopathically
at the same time,
which was the same as,
well, then you can't do anything, so to speak.
So it's placebo,
whatever that means.
I'll leave it that way.
It's also very exciting
what placebo research is doing now.
It would be worth an extra show.
And in fact, at some point
I thought to myself,
well, there must be something else.
So you were already trained?
Exactly.
I worked at the
Justizvollzugsanstalt as a doctor
and somehow thought to myself,
that can't have been everything.
And then I just thought,
just because it sounds so banal,
well, now I'll try
acupuncture.
But because it was offered
at the time,
I really didn't think
I have a crazy interest in acupuncture,
but rather, well,
I'll take the course and see
if that would be something for me.
And during this course
we stabbed each other
with a needle.
And then I suddenly noticed
how my muscles
had completely relaxed.
And only on the side,
so we have it here on the lower leg,
stomach 36, so one point here
below the knee joint.
And that impressed me so much
that I thought, that's crazy,
it does something.
And I really didn't believe it.
Or maybe that's the wrong word.
I was just curious
and I thought,
well, let's see if it really does something.
So rather.
And that was
my door opener
into the
holistic medicine.
And within
this different training,
I was in a biological cancer
medicine training.
And there I met a colleague
and she said, well, why?
She just tests all drugs.
And I thought, how does she do that?
And then we got into a conversation
and then she told me about
psychosomatic energetics.
Petra Ottmann, may I also like to call her
because she is a very esteemed
colleague of mine.
And she explained it to me a little bit
and then I thought, I'll try it.
I'll try it, it sounds
so simple
and yet so convincing.
And
I then decided for myself
to do it and it was fire and flames.
Wonderful.
Really, I can only say that.
With some methods, I have
done a lot of training,
where I realized, it's interesting that I experienced it.
I have an idea of it,
but it's nothing for me personally.
And the way I
decide for myself in therapy,
I think it is also very important
that a person decides
for his therapy form.
It's always such a hard word
because it always has something to do with separation.
I think you already mentioned it
in the conversation today,
to have the choice.
And I think that's a very nice word.
To have the choice
to choose for myself
which way I want to go.
And
that's how you find
your form
with which you can
develop further.
Yes, very impressive.
As we have already discussed,
often people don't even know
what kind of offer there is.
And then they really
don't have the option to choose.
And not out of malice,
but many doctors have their method
and they also
go in this direction from school medicine.
And that's
all okay,
but then they may not be able to
offer any help if a person says,
I would like to try something else.
And that's why I'm happy
that we're talking together today,
because more and more people
are being informed
and then out of their intuition,
out of their intuition,
out of what resonates with them,
they can really choose.
What I also find very exciting
is that it has
crossed my mind
that you have told this.
Isn't it also the opposite
that, for example,
a disease or something
that affects you is always
first an energetic problem
and that if people
simply don't have any symptoms yet,
except that they are
already bad enough,
are tired or have no energy,
that you could actually say
that every disease
or so actually begins
with an energetic disorder?
Would you say that too?
I sometimes find it so difficult
to pick him up
when he doesn't feel
that way.
Of course, when we see
our old medical cultures
and we Europeans,
I say now,
we also have our own culture
that has already spoken
of energy centers.
That was not necessarily
called chakras,
but it was also an energetic method.
And of course you can say
yes, probably.
I'm still a little careful
because it's
of course nice when you can
say I don't have anything
organic yet and still
look where my
energy field is right now
and how I can keep myself
as healthy as possible.
And of course an energetic method
is just as useful as
I say I eat well,
I do sports, I move,
I consciously breathe,
I say that now as an addition,
of course we all breathe,
but I consciously breathe,
I take care of myself
and make sure that I feel good,
also culturally or whatever,
what serves to make
me feel good and that I have
enough rest times.
And there are
many things that go with it.
And so I would say,
it's also like I say,
okay, I'm doing sports now
or I'm going, nowadays
it's also very en vogue
to have a coach
who accompanies me
with the psyche. And so I refresh,
to use a new German term,
yes, also
my system on the level of understanding
again and again,
that I get another point of view.
And so it would be normal for me
that I say, well,
once I go to the sport, once I go to the coach
and once I look at
my energy system,
it would be at least a possibility.
But if a person is not ready
to tell him,
well, it's all on the energetic level,
the basis, then I may
also not be fair to him
and then have to look,
what is his
philosophical worldview?
Or not only philosophically,
but what is his worldview
and what idea does he have
where his illness comes from?
Then I would rather follow him
than tell him. So it's an
option, a choice
to say,
it may be
energetic,
the cause. But
if I now, for example,
have a person
who has a gene defect,
to say now,
it would be an energetic problem,
I find that difficult.
Because the mind sometimes does not follow.
For me it was
also the thought of
health prophylaxis,
because I think
almost no one
is really energetic
as it should be.
The thought was,
nutrition, micronutrients, everything is so essential
and that you also
have a possibility there.
That's why this question,
I thought,
then you could maybe prophylactically
or see how it is before
anything has to arise at all, right?
Of course, that's also
from my understanding
it is also correct,
but it doesn't have to be like that for everyone.
And that's why I think it's so important.
It's just additional
and also energetic.
So I wouldn't
either or, but maybe it's
a and. And ultimately
we know, many
don't anyway.
I once heard a report
about a sea researcher
who then also said,
yes, God, we know
maybe 20% of the things that happen under the seas
and 80%
are still open. And a little bit
I see that sometimes also in medicine.
We know an awful lot, but we probably
know very little.
And that's why I also say it's
for me personally
rather a and than
either or.
Well, that's what distinguishes you again.
You have so much at your disposal
and you are so modest. And I think the more
you have at your disposal, the more
you can feel that there is still a lot
and that you just have this
concern. Yes, and also to have the humility
that I can just admit to myself
I don't know.
Yes. So also this
yes, we have to leave some questions open.
I can't explain the method
of psychosomatic energy
in detail, because
my mind also has a lot of question marks.
For me it has then
developed, I have been doing this since
2008, that I
gradually got the
experience and just see
it puts something in motion.
And then I say to myself, yes, it's wonderful.
And how now in detail
it works. Of course I have
my ideas of how it works, but whether
that's the absolute truth
is, I wonder very much.
But for me
really a naive question, because I
just don't know that much.
I have now understood that
with this psychosomatic
energy you can measure the energy
state, but also treat it.
Exactly. After you have measured
the energy state,
you look at which
energy center
or also called chakra
is
currently the
main energy problem.
In other words, what is the
body ready to do first?
And
we start
from seven main centers,
which are dependent on
Ayurvedic medicine
or Indian medicine.
And every body
energy center is
assigned a body system.
So if we take out the third
chakra,
I have the stomach, the liver,
pancreas, thoracic spine
in it, but also an
emotional system
and a hormone system.
For example, now the third chakra,
just to stay with this example,
the pancreas
as a hormone organ.
And so we have
energetically related
in each body center
different
main
centers, I would say.
And there you look,
where is the energy problem?
And in our experience,
the body is always only ready
to do one thing.
And like
a backpack full of stones,
we just take out the one
that is available next.
And then
it is gradually
dissolved. And to each
energy center there is
a special emotional
topic, which has
another nuance,
which is also treated.
And so it takes
about three months
on average, so between
two, four and five,
until one topic is resolved.
And then you take, to stay
with this picture,
the next stone out of the backpack.
Or onion peels,
or whatever. You have to see
what that one or that one
can do with a picture.
Dear Andreas,
we are already at the end of the show
and I am sure that many, many
people also want to know
more about this method.
Where can they get informed?
There is a society
called International
Society for Psychosomatic
Energetics or IGPSE.ch.
This is also in Switzerland.
And there is a lot of
information where you can read
about it again. There is also
who does this method.
You can look for postal numbers,
for country.
Who can treat them there?
Nice.
And there is also a YouTube channel
from the IGPSE, where you
maybe also talk about it with certain therapists.
Then you also get
an impression that
not only me, but also others
use this method
with success.
Great. I am already looking forward
to the next shows with you.
It was nice to have you with us. Thank you very much, Andreas.
Wonderful. Thank you very much, too.
Dear viewers,
thank you very much.
I think you were able to
get something out of this feeling.
I am already looking forward to the next shows.
I hope you will be there again.
Stay healthy and see you again.
