The GOP and Conservative legal organizations are squaring off against the White House and the National Archives over Biden's private email accounts. Biden not only used his personal email accounts to conduct White House business, but we know that Biden included his son Hunter on some of that business. In this episode of America Uncovered, we talk about Biden's aliases, what role Hunter Biden's laptop played in uncovering what were in those emails, and why the White House says Biden was using private email accounts to begin with.
Biden may not be the sharpest tack.
"...America is a nation that can be defined in a single word."
But it turns out Biden might have multiple personalities, and many of them might be corrupt.
Welcome to America Uncovered, I'm Chris Chappell.
Well after Trump's fourth indictment, it's Joe Biden's turn in the spotlight again.
I feel like I'm on one of those large amusement park pendulum swing rides.
And I'm starting to feel a little nauseous.
This ride's been going on for years.
This time, the spotlight is on not one, but five Joe Bidens.
While he was Vice President, Biden used multiple accounts for official business.
Was he trying to get extra free trials of Netflix?
Because if so, that's the most relatable thing he's ever done.
Now, using multiple email accounts for vice presidential business might seem just a tiny
bit shady, but hold your horses.
According to the White House, it's a common practice to avoid spam and hacking.
Even if, according to the New York Post, private email servers are more susceptible to hacking.
But the emails were archived with the National Archives and Records Administration, or NARA.
Like they were supposed to be.
So what's the big deal?
Well, barely the big deal is getting hold of them.
At least two separate entities are trying to get their hands on these emails—House
Republicans and the Southeastern Legal Foundation, which just filed a lawsuit over stalled freedom
of information act requests to NARA.
Now Biden's alias email addresses aren't breaking news.
They were discovered on the infamous Hunter Biden laptop.
This headline is from July of 2021.
The laptop showed that Biden had the pseudonyms Robin Ware, J.R.B.
Ware, Robert L. Peters, and 67 Stingray.
67 Stingray is that Biden's secret spied codename from 5th grade?
Back in 2021, one thing that drew attention was a May 2016 email addressed to Robert L.
Peters, aka Biden, that cc'd Hunter to a daily schedule including a phone call with
then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
That was right around the time Hunter was being paid over $83,000 a month to sit on
the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma.
I know, I know, it sounds shady.
But don't worry, according to Time, it was totally innocent.
After all, the schedule also included information about Biden's plans to return to his home
in Wilmington for the one-year anniversary of the death of Biden's other son, Beau.
Another email that drew attention involved a discussion of a White House hire with Hunter
in June 2014.
That hire was John McGrail, who is currently serving as the counselor to the Undersecretary
for Domestic Finance.
Hunter used his Rosemont, Seneca consultancy email address to write to his father's Robin
Ware account, saying,
"'Before you fill position, please talk to me.
John McGrail very much wants to serve as detail for Treasury,' to which Biden replied,
"'Re-Johnny, call me right away, Dad.'"
And would you look at that, two months later, McGrail went from senior counselor to deputy
counsel to the vice president.
Wow, Hunter Biden is a great reference to use on job applications.
At least he used to be.
Now he's only good if you're applying to be a Waffle House bouncer.
Biden's Robin Ware account is the same one that received emails from government officials
like current Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who was at the time a national security advisor.
So much for Biden's absolute wall between official government business and private family
business dealings.
In response to these emails, Republicans at the Committee on the Judiciary and the Permanent
Subcommittee on Investigations wrote a letter to NARA demanding records, but they haven't
had much luck getting anything.
The same goes for requests to the White House.
Continued requests in 2023 still haven't gotten any response.
Man, I thought it was annoying getting left on read after a Tinder date.
Imagine getting ghosted by a government agency.
I thought we had a real connection, NARA.
Likewise, Southeastern Legal Foundation, a conservative non-profit law firm, first asked
NARA to release Biden's email in 2021, but was told that emails couldn't be made public
until January 20, 2022.
When the foundation asked again in June of 2022, NARA provided a response, but not the
records.
Hence the current lawsuit.
The response was telling, however.
NARA admitted that there were over 5,100 email messages, 25 electronic files, and 200 pages
of records connected to three of Biden's pseudonyms.
Republicans have sent another letter to NARA asking for a status update by the 12th of
September.
The letter said that at least 59 boxes taken from a Biden attorney's office in Boston
contained any information linked to Biden's emails.
NARA has apparently initiated the process for the House GOP, but Biden gets to exert
executive privilege to some of the documents, which many fear will allow NARA to redact
key details.
But while the House GOP and Southeastern Legal Foundation have hit walls in their requests
for records, there is someone else who has busted through.
America First Legal has been releasing Biden's emails in droves.
I'll tell you what's in them after the break.
Welcome back.
There's a chance that the Republican rallying cry will go from Hillary Clinton's emails
to Biden's emails.
While Matt's rallying cry is still, no more Hunter Biden emails, please.
Just days after the Southeastern Legal Foundation revealed the existence of 5,000 plus emails,
more information came to light thanks to another conservative non-profit organization called
America First Legal.
They've been releasing FOIA request emails from Joe Biden's time as Vice President
since March.
The latest release revealed over a thousand emails between the Hunter-linked business
Rosemont Seneca Partners and the office of Vice President Biden.
Rosemont Seneca is one of the many shady Hunter Biden companies.
Emails obtained by America Legal First detail how Hunter leveraged his position and access
to his father to make arrangements for his business partners.
In one exchange dated December 18, 2013, lobbyist Doug Davenport told Hunter business
partner Eric Schwerin that he was in a bad spot and needed to help out his guy from Apple
with getting a regular White House tour for him and his four colleagues.
The email exchange ultimately resulted in Rosemont Seneca employee Katie Dodge emailing
Vice President Biden's staffers asking for tickets, saying this would be a big favor
for Hunter.
And Hunter always appreciates favors.
That wasn't the only time.
In another email exchange on Hunter's behalf, Dodge asked if Hunter's associate Josh Targoff
from Third Point could get a White House tour.
Sounds like Hunter's most successful business was as a booking agent for White House tour
guides.
That's the only reason folks wanted to exploit his relationship to his father to see the
Rose Garden.
Third Point, by the way, is a hedge fund founded by Democratic billionaire donor Dan Loeb,
who wanted to raise billions from the Chinese sovereign wealth fund CIC.
A separate email also had Dodge ask the White House for a favor, this time a written letter,
saying that it's very important to Hunter.
Saying this is important for Hunter and this is a big favor for Hunter seems a lot like
saying abracadabra to get certain things done.
Maybe I should try that.
Next time my landlord asks why my rent is late, I'll just say it's an important big
favor to Hunter you give me this month for free.
Hunter and his associates seem to be taking advantage of their connections to the White
House by offering things like White House tours and other perks such as signatures.
But I'm sure Hunter's business successes have nothing to do with this.
Everyone knows Nepo babies are always talented.
Just look at Sofia Coppola's acting in The Godfather Part 3.
She played the most convincing emotionless android I've ever seen.
To make matters worse, according to America First Legal, Hunter Biden was intimately involved
in planning for high-profile White House events.
This raises a lot of concerns that Hunter leveraged his connection to his father to
secure spots at White House events, last-minute White House tours, and personal letters for
people connected to the Hunter Biden business network.
There's still a lot we don't know.
Part of it is because the National Archives is withholding emails, including 168 email
messages in whole and 68 email messages in part, that have been exempted from release
in compliance with the restrictions of the Presidential Records Act and applicable FOIA
exemptions.
That's even worse than getting ghosted.
That's like after months of texting questions to someone, they finally respond and just
say, good, you?
Stop playing games with my heart.
The search for dirt on Biden will continue.
Some say that right-leaning media are just making a big fuss about these emails.
After all, most of this information was already out there.
Why bring it up now?
But a question worth asking is if it's appropriate to allow corporations and businessmen to use
children of politicians to gain access to certain things, no matter how insignificant?
And is it appropriate for politicians to so freely use multiple private email accounts,
especially when they seriously blur the line between government and family matters?
One thing's for certain.
If Biden pushes too hard to withhold information about his emails, more and more people are
going to believe that he's up to something no good.
Some believe that this could cost him.
But even if it does, at least he got extra free trials of Netflix.
And just like the Biden administration, America Uncovered wants diverse supporters who can
give voluntary contributions on Patreon.com slash America Uncovered.
Just one email address will suffice.
Though if you want to support the channel with multiple accounts, I won't complain.
And if you want to see how far someone is willing to go to protect Hunter Biden, then

Once again, I'm Chris Chappell.
Thanks for watching America Uncovered.
