UN World Data Forum 2023 - Interview Corner (Gayan Peiris, UNDP's Head of Data and Technology)

The Fourth UN World Data Forum 2023 took place in Hangzhou, China, in April 2023. The UN World Data Forum aims to spur data innovation, nurture partnerships, mobilize high-level political and financial support for data, and build a pathway to better data for sustainable development. During the 12 sessions that UNDP hosted at the event, UNDP teams facilitated exchanges and introduced additional solutions that address challenges across different thematic areas such as good governance (survey to measure progress on SDG 16), climate change and the environment, as well as peace and strong institutions.
