Meet UNDP Costa Rica, Winners of the People for 2030 Awards 2021

Introducing UNDP Costa Rica, who won the People for 2030 Awards 2021 for their ‘Gender Responsive Transformation’ initiative under the people strategy’s focus area ‘Foster and leverage diversity’.

People for 2030 is UNDP’s #peoplestrategy to transform its culture and capacity to deliver better results for the #SustainableDevelopmentGoals. In October 2021, colleagues from across offices participated in the second awards, and it was great to see how they continue to double down on the implementation of innovative initiatives.

In 2021, the UNDP Costa Rica Office achieved gold certification, the highest level of recognition of the Global Gender Equality Seal.
