I'm excited to be in Lompoc with Paul Patel who is a past president and board member of
Explore Lompoc. Now am I saying that right Lompoc? Lompoc, exactly. Lompoc,
some people say Lompoc. Lompoc and it's pronounced Lompoc. You can tell the natives by Lompoc.
Tell me about your wonderful city. Well, we're, you know, we're right here on the central coast
on Highway 1. We have a lot of things that people come here to take a look at. We have
great murals that are all over town. What's your favorite part of your city? I just like the
community. I love everything that it has to offer from the murals, the restaurants, you know, wines.
There's a lot of tasting rooms in Lompoc. And then for families, if they want to go to the
mission, La Prisma mission. I love the mission. And you've got Vanderburg out here. So you're
just watching rockets be shot every week. Yeah, we have Vanderburg out here where we
see a lot of launches. You see SpaceX. You have one of the best kept secrets of the beach here,
Halama Beach, right? Oh, well, Halama Beach is, was a secret. A lot of people have come,
you know, you got great campgrounds there here at Halama Beach, a great burger place. And,
you know, a lot of times the locals will just go out there for the day and,
and spend the day at the beach. So Paul Patel with Explore Lompoc, thank you.
