Rescued Animals

It's been a busy week for rescued animals, we had three come in last week. We recieved a phone call that there was a wild bird that was hit by a car on the highway and responded to find an injured Canadian goose. The second one was a male goat that does not appear to have been a pet but a herd animal and is not comfortable around people. The third was a Julian Painted pig but not just any pig, this one was raised here at The 10 Acre Woods and was adopted out last year. We have contacted the owners that adopted her and are waiting to hear back. It was a beautiful fall weekend with lots of visitors enjoying the final warm days before the cold sets in.
