Another awesome week in the awesome city of Hong Kong exploring, touring and eating, and eating and eating ;-). We finally find the Temple Street Night Market in the Kowloon part of Hong Kong and we sure are glad we did. We find some great street food offerings and tons of great shopping. While street food is our favorite, Hong Kong and Kowloon these days tends to guide one toward eating in restaurants as there is limited street food availability. We find some great places and even manage to find a chicken foot in my soup ;-), While exploring the streets of Hong Kong we find a Ferrari you'd have to pay me to drive (and I love Ferrari's). All over Kowloon and Hong Kong we notice large groups of people standing still madly tapping on their cell phone screens. Finally as we enter Kowloon Park and find yet another mass of these folks we investigate and discover that everyone in Hong Kong aside from us is playing Pokemon Go. Now that we know what to look for it truly amazes us just how many people a playing Pokemon Go all over the place. It almost makes us want to download it and try it...almost ;-) Also in this edition, Kate finally gets to try a Hong Kong Starbucks version of the Mocha Frapuccino ...how did it stack up against Starbucks in other places? Plus, we discover our favorite food alley in all of Hong Kong and give you directions to it!

We found the Temple Street Night Market. We are checking the Kachoi Fishing Village
for some rice with beef curry brisket. Yum! Beef brisket and curry with rice.
Very tender, spicy, but very good. The fish house was so good we went back for some
barbecued pork and rice with an egg. The first place we found that is actually reasonably priced.
Food's pretty expensive around here compared to other places we've been but this is
awesome and like three bucks.
Another fun night wandering around the market. Yep. And now we're full.
We're just here for ice cream. New Jones is for a sketchy soft serve. McDonald's of
all over is the place to go. McDonald's is a bit different here than we're used to.
Pretty snazzy. A lot more restaurant eating here in Kowloon for us. It's been really cool.
You find these little places. They've got barbecue. Nothing's really cheap here. About
twelve dollars for the two of us is about the cheapest we can get for a meal. So it'll work
and it's super tasty. Take out the noodles and oh look what's in my soup. It's a chicken foot.
Yep that's a Ferrari wagon. If you're gonna buy a Ferrari for god's sakes don't buy a wagon.
I'm gonna go walk through beautiful Kowloon Park and uh watch a ton of people play Pokemon Go.
What's everybody doing that we noticed they were putting on their screens as fast as their
fingers could move. You know just to see if it's different. It is different. Not sure I like it
much. Kowloon Park is an awesome city. We're really enjoying it. One thing it doesn't have
going for it though is the air quality. The air quality is pretty rough but uh still a great
place. Just uh kicking the allergies. What are you two doing? Kowloon Park is really pretty.
They got an aviary here like a lot of the parks we've found do. Lots of beautiful birds in there.
The cool thing is we were noticing how many of the different species of parrots and stuff up
there that we've seen out in the wild. I would say definitely come visit Kowloon. It's uh easy
to get around. I've always felt unsafe and there's just so much to see. They even have a hedge
right here. I had to come back. I was craving greens and this place has the best. Our favorite
How cool! Right there across from our hotel is the World Wing Chun Kundo Association.
That was a significant part of my life a long time ago.
Well Hong Kong was a blast. Now we're off to Macau on a ferry.
One of our favorite modes of travel it seems.
Click the thumbs up and subscribe. No, now that was good.
