We hop a ferry to Macau. We've heard Macau is the Vegas of Asia but we were so pleasantly surprised by all of Macau's old style Portuguese cobble stone roads and paths. We get right into the public transport and street food of Macau including some amazing pork chop sandwiches...as well as some not so amazing offerings...but overall the food in Macau is just fantastic. We take the advice of previous visitors and get some tickets to see The House of Dancing Water.

This is the nicest ferry we've been on.
First thing we do is hop on a public bus to get out to somewhere near our hotel.
The language is Portuguese, but they do accept $1,000 so we didn't have to do a double exchange.
That was cool.
Macau is beautiful with the Portuguese architecture and all the historical buildings.
Check out these walkways.
Now we're searching for our hotel.
Here we are just looking for some food.
All over the sidewalks in Macau are these awesome mosaics.
I like that style.
The food here in Macau has a lot more of a Portuguese flavor because of their history.
So Kate got a Portuguese pork chop sandwich.
Pork chop sandwiches!
Look at that thing. I'm going to finger her food.
Tastes as good as it looks?
Very much so.
I got this Portuguese beef curry and rice.
Such an interesting fusion. It's delicious.
Pretty darn cool.
So we're grabbing a casino shuttle over to the other island.
We're going to get some show tickets and check out Vegas of Asia.
It's like Vegas but bigger and with more space.
Thank you.
Pretty much everybody that we know that's been to Macau said the only thing you've really got to do while you're there is see House of Dancing Water.
This is one of the best shows in the world.
So thank you everybody who sent us birthday money because that's what we're doing with it.
Thank you.
No way I can do that but it looks fun as heck.
Beautiful park runs right up through downtown.
Market.
Fresh seafood.
That.
You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose.
This is a pork chop sandwich, another one for today and it's totally different.
I got the oxtail soup.
Pork soup and french fries.
I think it's a cat. That's the smallest oxtail I've ever seen.
Soup doesn't really have any pork. It's just all liver.
Yeah well, it can't all be butter.
Look what we found right by our hotel.
We're trying a Japanese egg roll which is a roll of egg with ham and cheese.
Check this thing out. It's like a ham and cheese omelet.
Yum.
Well that's very good.
Thank you.
Goldfish.
Can I put them in a pool little tank?
Want some goldfish?
Click the thumbs up and subscribe.
No, no that was good.
