We are an ADVENTUROUS family of 6 who lost our son to SIDS in 2014. Our biggest regret was not having family videos of him when he was here and is why we started doing daily vlogs!
Thomas is a 2X North American Champion in his kick-boxing career and Ashley is a network-marketing professional.
Together we have 6 year old Identical twins- Simon & Cohen. Our son Miloh was born 12/12/13 and passed away 5/20/14. We were blessed with our Rainbow baby (and 4th son) Ezrah this year on 03/02/17 and we have loved sharing our every day journey with our followers and are looking forward to where this journey takes us!
Guys, where are we?
Okay, you gotta turn that level way down, bro.
Ezra.
Oh, he likes it.
You're not scared at all?
Oh my gosh.
Oh, that is Pennywise.
I think that's his idea.
He gives hugs.
Oh my gosh.
Oh, Ezra does not like it.
Babe, out of all the things, that big green slime or mask scared him the most.
Are you scared?
He doesn't want him to do with it.
This is the coolest thing I've ever seen.
I've never seen a zero.
How cute is that?
Babe, if we hung this in our trees out front, you know?
That is so cute.
All of the pumpkins.
This is like what I like with Halloween.
I like all that scary stuff.
What in the world?
Ezra.
Ezra, who is that?
Get close to mama.
Oh, look at you.
Look at this one.
Look at all of those.
Oh, that's a good one.
That's a good black panther, huh?
Look at this.
Those are so cool.
I'm curious how much these are because they have this exact one.
Yeah.
I think that's about what we paid, $14.
Yeah, $14.
Look at that.
You guys have those already, huh?
Yeah.
Ezra, hurry, babe.
Look at this cutie.
He was going so hard today.
And he just crashed here on the floor.
Oh, my gosh.
Okay.
I had to come in another room and do this very quietly.
Don't mind my missing picture frame.
I need to remove all of those because they're just old.
Anyway, Simon and Cohen have lost a coat for three days in a row.
Three days in a row they've come home, one of them without a coat.
Luckily today I was able to go in and I found one of them.
Haven't found the other one.
The other one was not.
Return to loss and found.
But I had the biggest discussion with them this morning.
I said, you guys, listen.
If you come home without a coat again, I will sell your PlayStation so that I can pay for all these coats you guys keep losing.
And guess what they did?
They freaking came home without a coat.
Again.
I was pretty mad.
When they saw the look on my face when they came running off the bus without a coat, I said, where are your coats?
And they both had this look of terror in their face.
And they both just burst into tears.
Not my PlayStation.
Oh, anything but my PlayStation.
So they've been in the house.
The last 30 minutes they've been trying to barter with me.
Anything but the PlayStation.
Anything.
Cohen's been trying to pawn off fake dollar bills and white colored pencils and all these random toys that they don't like or play with.
And say, just take this instead.
Anything but a PlayStation.
Anything.
Oh my gosh.
So anyway.
Long story short.
I'm still mad.
I'm annoyed.
Like, what do I do?
So if you're a kindergarten mom, if you've been there, done that, what are some tips you could give me to make them remember their flipping coats?
Like, we're coming up on, to be honest, we've only had three cold days.
And all three of them, they've lost their coats.
So we're pretty much at 100% here.
You know?
100% of the time they lose their coat.
So what are some tips you could give me?
I would greatly appreciate it.
Please leave them below in the comments and I will read through every single one of them.
So far, I did go to Facebook because I was really heated.
I probably was on the verge of crying when I made this post.
Every mom so far has said, oh girl, like, just wait.
It gets worse.
They'll just always forget their coats.
And I am not okay with that answer.
I need to find a way to help them remember their coats.
So please give me some good feedback.
If you have any.
Well, someone did say, make them carry around a coat for an entire day as a punishment.
I could definitely get behind that.
Or maybe right when they get to school, they put their coats in their backpack.
I did tell them to do that today.
Like when they got home.
And after I calmed down.
But if you do have some good tips, please send them my way.
What's wrong?
What am I supposed to do?
Huh?
What you got there, bud?
Quarters?
Is this going to pay for your coat?
Those are quarters.
So these are 25 cents.
So that's $1.
We need about 50 of them.
Is this all the money in your piggy bank?
No.
How much all these make?
Okay.
That's $1.23.
Okay.
He also added this to me.
So this is worth, he said, $99.
Right?
Is that what this is worth?
$99?
Okay.
So there's $100 right there.
He said he would trade me all of this right here.
And that change.
Okay.
What's this worth?
$1.
Okay.
What's this?
How much is this white pencil worth?
You don't know?
You just think I could trade it in for a coat?
But how much are these?
Oh, geez.
That's kind of a lot, huh?
Well, what about these?
How much are these worth?
All these toys?
You said these are like 50.
Cents?
Yeah.
So that would make like $1 right there, maybe?
That's a good pile right there, huh?
What did I say, though?
Did I say your PlayStation?
I said that, huh?
You'd be willing to give up these toys instead?
Of a PlayStation?
Okay.
I'll think about it.
How about when Dad gets home, we'll talk about it.
Do you know what else I think you guys should do?
When you get to school, unzip your backpack and put your coat in the backpack.
Is that a good idea?
Could you guys remember to do that?
Yeah, but what if I forget, you would remember and then get it?
No, because the bus brings you home, so I can't see if you left it or not.
That's why I have a problem with it because what if it goes, you know, you guys don't remember where you lose them.
And if someone else takes it home, do you know what I mean?
If I were there to pick you up, I would be able to see that you don't have a coat on and I'd go in and find it.
But I can't do that because you guys take the bus.
Oh, and meanwhile, look at my sweet little baby, Ezra.
Good morning, honey.
I always know when you're awake because you kick on your sound machine, huh?
We have loved this thing.
So, he is so good at going to bed.
This is literally what he does.
We lay him down and we turn on his little sound machine.
This is the one that he likes and it lights up.
The battery thinks about to die.
This has been rocking for at least a month and we, yep, it's definitely dying.
But we turn it on for every night time and nap time, huh?
And he loves it.
He goes right to bed.
We literally turn it on.
We shut his door and we leave and he goes to sleep, huh?
Do you see who's here?
Simon and Cohen are back from school.
Do you want to go say hi?
Let's go say hi.
