Billy Breaks Out To Be With the Female Doe Goats (Breeding Pygmy Goats)

Where there is a will there is a way. The same day we put Carl in the back with the female goats, Billy had broken out twice before we decided to put him in with the others and monitor the situation. After about 30 minutes everything calmed down and we confirmed that Billy is definitely the Alpha goat. When dealing with stud goats, it's important to make sure they are not injuring each other or doing damage to their surroundings. Carl has peacefully backed off and we are happy to say that all is calm once again on the farm. The gustation period of a goat is approximately 150 days, so we should be expecting around the beginning to mid-April.
