Stainless steel trim - Straightening and Repair

The stainless steel trim on your classic car is dented? Fix them requires exceptional skill and effort since most stainless trim is quite thin and polished.
In this video, we show you how to straighten or repair your stainless steel trim. Using a few simple tools then, you can tap out the dents and polish the trim to perfection.
Most people straighten stainless trim by gently manipulating it with a hammer and dolly and frequently filing the material to disclose any poor places. When the file reaches the whole surface, you know there are no low places left and the trim is ready to be sanded and polished.
While this method normally works, it is forceful and has the potential to remove a large quantity of material. If you file the trim too much, it will be damaged (don't ask how I know).
