1931 Cadillac V-16 All Weather Phaeton
This wonderfully restored 1931 Cadillac model 452A V16 All-Weather Phaeton is the king of the multi-cylinder classics. It is painted in a remarkable color combination of a rose main body over dark red fenders, wheels, and swage lines, with outstanding coachwork by Fleetwood. It is a wonderfully magnificent specimen that has been restored to a world-class level by the famous Alan Taylor Co. Inc. It was later presented at Pebble Beach in 2003, and despite being little used and without superb care, it is still in spectacular condition today. It still has its original Fleetwood body (per the attached construction sheet) and is exhibited exactly as it left the factory in 1931.

About the 1931 Cadillac V-16 All Weather Phaeton
Cadillac was a division of General Motors, yet it manufactured some of the best vehicles on the market, competing with significantly smaller luxury manufacturers such as Marmon, Packard, Peerless, Pierce-Arrow, and Duesenberg.
Because of the company's size and sales volume, Cadillac was able to provide a catalog of 60 distinct body styles/configurations for its top-of-the-line Model 452A V-16 in collaboration with captive coachbuilder Fleetwood.
This lovely 1931 Model 452A has a Fleetwood classified Design Number 4380 All-Weather Phaeton body, of which 250 were produced between 1930 and 1931. With a weight of 5,690 pounds, the enormous Cadillac moves with more grace than speed, due to the engine's massive reserve of torque rather than its 175 horsepower.
The Cadillac V-16 is one of America's greatest automobiles, and this version is unquestionably among the best available today. The one-of-a-kind color scheme complements the era's design, and the restoration is flawless. It is, of course, great for display, but it has been restored and prepped to the point where it is dependable and usable for touring. This is a rare opportunity to obtain an extremely stunning Cadillac that embodies the tagline, "The Standard of the World."
