Hey guys, welcome back to my channel.
Today I am doing something that has been highly requested
and I am going to be showing you guys a sneak peek
of what I am going to be doing
for my kids for Halloween morning.
So every holiday I do a little surprise.
I usually get everything I need from the dollar store
and then I just make a fun little breakfast.
To start with, I'm going to be showing you guys
just some breakfast ideas that are really affordable.
I mean, if you have fruits at your house
or if you have pancake or waffle batter,
you will be able to do any of these things.
So I'm just gonna show you some really simple ideas
that even if you are the least crafty person,
this is something fun you could do to surprise your kids
on the morning of Halloween
so they wake up to something fun.
So as you can see here,
I'm just peeling some of these cutie oranges
and then I'm going to also be making
little jack-o'-lanterns with some.
So some of them will look like little pumpkins
and some of them will look like jack-o'-lanterns.
Either way, I think it's super cute, super fun.
I'm just going to add little toothpicks
inside of the ones that I peeled back
to make them look like pumpkin stems.
And then to finish off this tray,
I will be making some banana ghosts.
So all you need are some bananas and some chocolate chips.
The next thing we're going to be making
are some vampire donuts.
I'm gonna be honest, these donuts are a couple days old
and so they're a little bit hard.
I was saving them to do this video
and I also forgot they were square
so they don't look quite right.
Like if you're doing this,
I would suggest trying to find some round donuts
and I think it'll look a little bit better,
but basically all you need are some donuts,
some vampire teeth and some eyeballs.
So this is probably the easiest thing you could possibly do
that would be fun for your kids
and it also takes no baking on your end.
The next idea is to make some monster three stack pancakes.
All you'll need to do for this is just make batter
just how you normally would
and then you're going to divide it into three separate bowls
and then add some food coloring
to make them three different colors.
So I did orange, green and purple for my little monsters
and really all you're going to do with these pancakes
is after you bake them
and then stack them on top of each other
and then add some little eyeballs.
Another idea is to make some Frankenstein waffles
and I think this is actually what I will be doing
on Halloween morning.
My kids have never seen anything like this
and I think that they will love them.
So to make these, I want them to be the shape of a square
so I'm just filling in a little bit of batter
in the center of the waffle maker
and then I will be adding some marshmallow eyes
on top of those, some chocolate chips
and then Kit Kats for the mouth.
Now that we have some breakfast ideas,
I want to show you what I'm going to be doing
to decorate for the little display that I do every holiday.
For Halloween, I thought it would be fun
to do something a little bit different
and that is to make a balloon garland.
To do this, all you need is some different colored balloons
and you can get these at Dollar Tree, Walmart.
If you get them at Walmart,
I think they're 97 cents for a bag
but I'm also using a balloon garland strip.
You can get these on Amazon.
So all I did was I measured the length
of where I want to put this garland
and once you blow up the balloons,
you just stick the tie of the balloon
into the hole on the strip.
So these little strips make it super easy
and they will create the perfect balloon garland.
Here, I'm showing you all of the little things
that I am going to be putting inside
of these pumpkin buckets
and all of this is from the Dollar Store.
So one thing I like to do on Halloween especially
is I like to give my kids either some kind of flashlight
or glow-in-the-dark stick or necklace or bracelet,
something like that,
just so that they have something that lights up on them
or I can stick it inside of their trick-or-treat bucket.
So that's something I always include
no matter what I'm doing
is some kind of glow stick or light.
Now, all I'm using to attach this balloon garland
is some string and it's really easy
to tie around one of the balloons
and then just attach it to wherever you want it to hang.
I also thought it'd be fun to put some spiderwebs
on the black balloons
and I just stuck one of our big hairy spiders
up on top of the light.
The next thing I'm showing you guys
is just how I will be setting up the plates
and the little buckets.
I figured they don't need any more treats.
Normally, I put some kind of goodies
inside of these buckets when I'm doing holiday breakfast,
but I figure they're going to be getting
plenty of treats on Halloween.
So I tried to find just little things
that they might like at the dollar store.
I have to show you these ghost mugs.
I have been searching everywhere at Walmart for these.
They make jack-o'-lanterns and ghosts.
I don't know if there might be another one that they make,
but I have had no luck finding them.
And then the last time I went, I happened to see the ghosts
and so I made sure to grab them.
This stack of four was only like nine or $10
and I just knew my kids would love these.
Again, I'm just showing you an idea
of how I'm going to be displaying everything
here in the morning and then of course,
I will be making one of these breakfast meals
and I will have that all ready for my kids
when they wake up on Halloween morning.
Okay guys, well that's everything for this video.
Thank you so much for watching.
