The Aston Martin DB5 is a British grand tourer (GT) made by Aston Martin and developed by Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera in Italy. The DB5 was a development of the final batch of DB4s, which were manufactured from 1963 to 1965.
The DB5, although not the first in the DB series, is the most well-known cinematic James Bond automobile, first appearing in the James Bond film Goldfinger (1964). The automobile was featured on a Royal Mail "British Auto Legends" postage stamp in 2013.
