What's up guys, welcome back to my channel. Finally, long time no see. I feel like I have
not vlogged in 600 years. It's been so long since I was like 38 weeks pregnant and I now have a
five-week-old baby. So baby Indy is here. Labor and delivery was kind of rough, kind of easy,
kind of all in between, but the most incredible experience. I can't wait to sit down and film
my labor and delivery story for you guys that will be coming. I've just been so busy trying
to find our groove and trying to find what works for us and being a new mom. So it's definitely
been very overwhelming but very rewarding at the same time. If you guys are moms, I'm sure you guys
can understand. So sorry for my lack of absence. I've just been really trying to figure this whole
thing out but it's been absolutely incredible. She's a complete angel. This weekend I have my
best friend Tara coming out. She's visiting us and Indy for the very first time which is super
exciting. You guys all know she's been my best friend since middle school and we just have the
longest friendship. So this is just like a whole new chapter of our lives and it's so incredible
to be able to experience this with her. So it's sad that she lives in a different state and we
can't do this like all the time, but at the same time it's also really exciting that she gets to
come out here and spend some time with us. So she's leaving the kiddos with Adam at home and
she's coming out today. It's Thursday and she's gonna stay till Monday morning. So I think she
gets in later tonight and she's just gonna Uber here because going to LAX to pick her up just
sounds like a complete mission. I was like, I love you but I'm not going to LAX to pick you up. So
she'll be here later tonight. So I figured it would be a really perfect time to come back and
to vlog and to share this experience with you guys. So yeah I hope you guys are all doing well.
I missed you so much. I'm so glad to be back now that things are starting to calm down and I feel
a little bit more at ease. The first few weeks were like so high anxiety for me. It was just
really really stressful like coming home and learning this whole new way of life. But I got
to spend the morning with Matt. He actually went into work a little bit later today and I'm just
gonna finish like doing some things around the house. I cleaned a little bit yesterday and I'm
just trying to finish up doing some laundry right now and some other little things. I just got Indy
down for a nap in her swing. Thank the Lord because she didn't want to sleep. She was fighting it for
a while. So she's napping right now and I'm finally able to be mobile and like get some stuff done. So
I'm gonna try and hustle real quick before she wakes up. And then I just washed all her bottles
and my pump parts. I haven't really been pumping that much. I pumped in the beginning and it was
creating like a huge oversupply. So now I'm just trying to exclusively breastfeed and only pump
if I actually really need to. And then I just pulled out this juice from Press Juicery. It has
orange pineapple, aloe vera, turmeric, lemon, and black pepper. It's really good. I picked up
I think five of them for 20 bucks. So not too bad. They have one at my mall.
If you guys have one, their juices are amazing. And then we got baby Indy. Sweet baby taking a nap.
She's so freaking precious, you guys. Look at that face. Oh, I just love her. This Mamoru is
a lifesaver. She naps in it sometimes for the most part. Other than that, we just kind of like
put her down on the couch. Sorry for the mess mom life. I'm trying really hard to get used to
like leaving things kind of a mess and not having the time to clean up. I gotta pick up Indy's room
a little bit too. It kind of gets hectic after me being in here and changing her throughout the
night and stuff. So I like to come in in the morning and just kind of clean up after myself
and get everything organized again. The rocker did come in. It's actually out in the living room
because I spend a lot of my time out there. I'll probably move it back in here when she
starts sleeping in her crib. So it will be super easy. But for now it's in the living room. So I
just kind of rearranged how things are. This is the love every play mat. And I absolutely love
this. We do like tummy time and little like play time on this thing and she's obsessed with it.
So I highly recommend this if you guys are looking for a play mat. I did also pick up some
postpartum clothes that actually fit me because I cannot fit back into my pre-pregnancy jeans right
now. I'm sure maybe one day I will. Maybe I never will and I'm absolutely okay with that. But I just
wanted to actually buy some jeans that fit me because I'm tired of wearing like leggings and
stuff. So I went to Cotton On and I bought like three pairs, three or four pairs of pants and
a couple of tops. So I do want to share that with you guys while I'm on here because I found some
really cute stuff and I feel like that store is just perfect for basics and it's like kind of in
the middle of price range. Like not too expensive and not too cheap. Like still good quality clothes.
Hi, I look like ass. I haven't been able to do like anything all day other than what I was
filming earlier. Indy woke up like right after that so I didn't get to film like the little
try on haul for you guys of the stuff that I got. She's been so fussy. She hasn't wanted to nap. She
hasn't wanted to do anything. She's hated her swing. She's hated the bouncer. She hates bouncing
with me. Like she was just not having it today and normally we have like pretty good days and
today she just had a really off day. Go figure when I had stuff to do. So it was kind of miserable.
Matt had to go into work late like I said so he ended up just getting home around like
eight I think. So I just left and I went to go get some waters and I picked up some white
claws for Tara because girl's on vacation and she should be able to have a drink if she wants to.
But Tara has landed. She got in at 8 30. She is Ubering to my house. I honestly can't wait for
her to get here. I know that she's gonna help me out so much the whole time that she's here. I
honestly look like a little boy and it looks like my hair is like just these right here but I have
hair I promise. It's back here. Anyways I'm gonna take this step upstairs and I'll see you guys in
a bit. Bye! A background for Tara to take a picture with Indy and it's like not it. She tried to take
one in front of this building and it had like little ballerinas on the wall. I was like we
cannot do this and now we're just trying to find a location that is not hideous. I think we're gonna
do that fence over there. She's ready. Let me see Indy. So cute! Tara got her this little outfit.
She also got me this outfit for my birthday. We're at Target because what else do YouTubers do?
Sick. I'm gonna try these. If anybody's tried them and they work let me know. I had to leave
Target while we were in checkout because she woke up and got hungry so I came in the car to feed her.
Tara just got here. She was starving. I feel so bad. She didn't eat until like before we left for
breakfast so she started to wake up and get fussy like right at the end but she did really good.
I'm getting Tara to watch Love is Blind. If you guys haven't watched this show you need to watch
it. Literally everyone's talking about it. It's like the most cringe show that you can't stop
watching. It's like so bad it's so good. And then the host, what's his name? Nick Lachey. She said
Tara's ordering groceries for snacks. We just got to the mall. Indy is not happy. It wasn't a long
enough drive for her to fall asleep so she's a little grumpy. We're going to Solita to eat some
dinner and maybe snap a few pictures together. We have like two. Yeah we have like two pictures from
1990 with each other so it's time for an updated picture but we need to find like some random
person to take it. Tara took over for me this morning. She's a real MVP. We just ordered
breakfast and the guy brought hot coffee when we ordered iced coffee so Tara's over here
concocting our coffee. Stupid. It's probably gonna be disgusting. It's like water though.
What's up guys? It is Saturday morning. We just got ready and we're gonna head out to Ventura to
go to the beach. Matt's mom lives out there as you guys know if you've been watching my videos for a
while. She lives like right on the water so like steps away so we're just gonna head out there.
She said it's a little like cold. I don't know if she said it was overcast. She just said it was
windy but she's like if you guys wanted to either like leave Indy at the house she could watch her
and Tara and I could walk down to the beach because she literally hasn't gone to the beach in like
years which is beyond me because we both grew up there so I know that she's missing it. So we're
just gonna spend the day out there get some fresh air and just be out for the day. We're doing pretty
good about like staying busy and going out. I thought that we would do a lot more staying
home at the house but it's actually nice to go out and like have help while I'm out because Matt
works during the week so I don't normally get to like go do a bunch of things so it's been amazing.
She helped me out this morning. Indy slept from I think 12 to around like 3 30 and then I woke up
better. She went back down slept till 6 and then Tara was up with her this morning helping me
and she would just wake me up to feed her and she would take her out of the room so that way I could
sleep in so it's been honestly a dream. So she's changing her getting her in her outfit and then
we're gonna head out of here.
So this is the necklace Tara got me. This shirt and these shorts are both from Cotton Moms.
Yeah they fit so good and then they have a bunch of good like cropped like t-shirts and basics there.
Sorry Tara just knocked the camera off.
I did not shave my legs either.
And then these sandals are from Student Outing.
Cute beach outfit.
Oh are you so cute?
Also I'm so annoyed and probably TMI but you guys know I'm always TMI
but my postpartum bleeding was like stopped like it was pretty much like over and then I feel like
this past week it came back like full force like I'm fully bleeding all over again so I have to
wear like granny panties and a real pad again today I was wearing just like thong liners for a while
and now I'm back to wearing pads so if this happened to you guys let me know because I'm
almost six weeks postpartum and I'm bleeding massively again.
So we beached, we hung out with Matt's mom for a bit, caught up and then Matt's stepdad came down
and got us all set up with the umbrella and chairs and now we're just hanging out.
Indy's cruising in her little bouncer. She loves it. It's so beautiful out it's like 70 degrees
a little windy but it's still like perfect. Today is just like the best beach day ever.
Top of the morning to ya. I have the shower on we're gonna jump in and take shifts showering.
We both need to wash our hair so greasy and so nasty and I feel like I was like
sweating so much last night. Yeah yeah I'm still having postpartum night sweats and then
I'm still postpartum bleeding so everything's amazing. I don't know if I'm bleeding or if I
started my period but I have my six week appointment later this week and we're gonna
find out if it's my period or if I'm just gonna bleed for the rest of my life so love that.
Tara's hanging out with Bindi. She's so sweet. Tara's last day. We're on our way to get our
nails done. Tara doesn't really need to get hers done but mine are a little grown out and she saw
me like about to lose it on a verge of a mental breakdown so she's like let's go get your nails
done. Matt is finally home. He's been gone all weekend working on his bike and he just finished
today so we left Indy with Matt and it's his turn to take over while we go get a break and just have
some Hillary and Tara time because this whole weekend it's been us and Indy just like passing
her back and forth and doing the mom deal so it's gonna be nice to get a little break. I pumped a
little milk before I left so Matt could feed Indy while I was gone and I got, I don't know if you can
see, milk stains on my brand new Lulu's. These are so cute. They're like the army green color.
They're just the lines, my favorites. I was not prepared for the amount of milk that would spill
on my clothing day to day. Like all my clothes by the end of the day are just like stained with milk.
We just got home. Indy and Matt are napping together on the couch. They have to leave soon
but I feel really bad waking them both up. Show us your nails. They look exactly the same.
She's so sweet. That's what I got. It looks white but it's like a
baby baby baby baby pink. They're pretty though. Yeah, soup's pretty. My toes look good.
Her hairy legs. Yeah, every time I feel like I go my legs are so hairy.
Yeah. So embarrassing especially when I was pregnant because I couldn't shave them.
They're used to it.
Kaden.
Tara's driving Matt's truck home. Matt's riding his bike home.
I'm driving my car and Indy home. What's up guys? It's now Tuesday. I just wanted to come
on here and close out the vlog and just give a shout out to Tara for coming out here and
making this past weekend absolutely incredible. I seriously love you so much. Like everybody
seriously needs a Tara. I posted that on my Instagram the other day and it's so true. Like
everyone just needs a best friend like her. She's seriously the best. She's seriously what you see
is what you get. She's the most like authentic selfless like caring human being. Like she just
wants to do everything in her power to take care of you and to make you happy and honestly there's
just like no better traits than that. So I'm so thankful that we've been able to hold on to our
friendship for as long as we have and continue to cherish that and it's also really hard for me to
ask for help so having her come out here and just kind of like pick up and do things and know what's
gonna make me happy. I'm just forever in awe of her like she's just an incredible human being and
I feel really lucky to have her in my life. Being a new mom is definitely overwhelming and if you
guys have friends or family that's willing to help definitely don't be afraid to ask for help.
So I love you guys. I hope you enjoyed this vlog. I just went grocery shopping. I went crazy at
Trader Joe's. Spent so much money but it was the first time that I've gone grocery shopping since
Indy's been born so we're literally like out of everything. So I had to stock up on absolutely
everything and I need to start making dinners again because it's getting expensive eating out
all the time. Don't forget to give this video a thumbs up if you did enjoy it. Subscribe to my
channel if you're not already and I will see you guys in my next video. Bye!
you
