NEW YORK METS TRADE FOR JAVY BAEZ REACTION!

Yo, what is good Mets Nation? Welcome back to Mets Media and we got breaking news. The New York Mets have made a trade. Leading up to the trade deadline, Javi Baez is now a New York Met. We also get Trevor Williams and with the New York Mets are giving up is our fifth-ranked prospect Pete Crow Armstrong who I was very high on. So it's a little upsetting to see him walk but we get Javi Baez reuniting with Francisco Lindor. The two best friends have been boys since high school. They play with Puerto Rico together. It's going to be Francisco Lindor shortstop. Javi Baez at second whenever Lindor gets back from his injury. That middle infield defensively is going to be so fun to watch. Javi Baez will be playing shortstop until Francisco Lindor comes back and that's a pretty long time. There's three to five weeks until Francisco Lindor will be back with injury. So that's really good that we got a shortstop to fill in the role for Francisco Lindor. But wow, breaking news. This is my initial reaction. The news just broke a couple of minutes ago and this is pretty insane. Please leave a comment down below your guys thoughts. Are you happy with this trade? We knew that the Mets were going to make some type of trade whether it's Chris Bryant, whether it's Trevor Story, whether it's Jose Barrios, whether it's all these players and it ends up being Javi Baez. We find out like a couple days ago from Javi Baez himself, the only way I'm playing second base in this league is if I'm playing with my guy Francisco Lindor. And hey, what happens? He is reunited with his buddy Francisco Lindor. We saw reports that Zach Scott, the GM for the New York Mets, went out to Francisco Lindor today at Citi Field, talked to him for a little bit, probably broke him the news that we're getting Baez. And then Lindor is pumped up. He was screaming on Citi Field going crazy. So obviously Lindor's pumped up to get his boy back. He actually recruited him. He went up to Steve Cohen himself, Lindor, and said, hey, you got to get Javi here because he'll help us out offensively. And yes, I know that Javi Baez is a big bat, but he swings and misses. He doesn't really have a lot of plate discipline at the plate, but he is a slugger. He has 22 home runs, I believe. That would be tight. That's like second on the entire Mets club. We are 29th in the league in offense. We need a big bat. I know he's an all or nothing type of bat, but he's somebody that's going to provide pop, swagger. He's going to fit right into the clubhouse with Marcus Stroman and Edwin Diaz and all these guys that just love playing with each other. I feel like Javi Baez is going to be a fan favorite for the New York Mets, but it is a big price to pay. Pete Coral Armstrong is a guy that I really love. He's a teenager. I think he's still 19 years old. He suffered shoulder surgery this year, so he has not played once with the Mets system last year or this year. So we don't even know what PCA is going to be doing in the minor league system, what his trajectory is to come to the major leagues because of his injury. So Pete Coral Armstrong, definitely a top prospect. I wish we did not give him up, but you got to pay a price in order to get a guy like Javi Baez and then Trevor Williams as well, who's going to provide much needed depth at the pitching position for the New York Mets. So this is my initial reaction to Javi Baez coming to the New York Mets. I'm pumped up. I'm going to the game tonight, repping my black. I cannot wait. It's too bad that Baez will not be making his debut tonight because the treat happened a little too late, but I'm not complaining. Javi Baez is a New York Met. Leave a comment down below your thoughts of Javi Baez. Are you happy that he's here? Are you upset that we gave up PCA? Do you not like Javi Baez at all? I know some Mets fans don't like him. Some Mets are jumping for joy. Steve Cohen makes a splash and there's some rumors that we're not done. It is around like an hour left until the trade deadline as I'm recording this video. So we'll see what happens. If you guys are going to the game tonight, let me know. I'd love to meet you guys and let's go Mets. Javi Baez is now a part of the Mets. Let's go. Peace.
