Dean prepares baskets and troughs for our customers, filling them with beautiful, vibrant colours ready for those dark winter days.
At the front of the poly tunnel our new additions, cacti, are lined up ready to make you smile!
And we get ready for the Oldland Village Club ‘Christmas Market Night’ coming up on 17h November...
It's coming in to collect these today and we want another four more done so good start.
We've also done some baskets for some local pubs as well so I'll show you later.
Okay just a little mixture of beavers, sycamore, some heathers, some violas and some pansies
and some primulas basically. A bit of colourful, a bit of colour for the winter.
Okay we've just got a few cacti and aloe vera bouncing. We are going to start doing
a few more indoor plants especially after Christmas when the weather,
the worst of the weather is gone. So but these are really nice,
low maintenance and they look very good. A lot of different ones and we will be adding to the
collection. We also do the cacti soil there as well so watch this space.
Baskets for the Hollybush pub. This is winter baskets basically. We've got some
sycamore, some heather, some primulas, some winter pansies and also some violas.
So they'll trail as well and they'll go right through. So we'll hang those up,
come in for those tomorrow and also I've just taken another order for the same for
Coral at the Crown in Salford. So yeah he wants a few as well and he's just taken his troughs.
A bit of winter colour. Yeah thank you.
Pansy call wave mix which will come in these little, I'll show you, come in these little
baskets already potted. So all you can do is put them straight into a pot or into a basket
or even break them off and put them around the garden in little clumps. So all mixed colours,
really pretty, easy to manage. All you have to do is just keep deadheading which means
you just take it right back, line the stalks, take it off and then you'll get a reshoot then.
Okay lots of lots of little bits of deadheading and you'll have a fantastic basket.
