Becky cuts back some Iris

Becky does her first demonstration in the nursery. This time she is tidying up and cutting back an Iris at the end of it’s flowering season. These Iris will be put somewhere safe at the back until next year.
Recording? Yeah, going on. Hi, so this morning I am tidying these iris up, so they need cutting back
because the flowers are finished now. So we cut them down like that,
we top them up with some more food. So the first thing I need to do is get the weeds out,
so I've got a bucket down here, we're very well organised.
Get the weeds out the top like this and then I'm going to take off the label, don't lose that,
take off the bark and the flowers all mulched down here, so it's really quite handy to chuck
it all down here. And then I'll top that up with a bit more soil and some more food, but for now
I'm going to cut them down to about two or three inches, tidy it up,
and we'll put them away ready for next year.
