Alan, welcome. Thank you. So, you've been studying this subject, or these subjects,
because there's more than one really, but they're all sort of interlinked,
for, I think you said before, since 1953? I know, I started looking at this casually,
just as someone had gone on a weekend or something in 1956. I was joined by my colleague who
really urged me to put it on a firm footing in 76. Okay. Because he wanted to launch the
search for Arthur II. He said, we can do this, let's do it. So, over 30 years, seriously? Oh,
yeah, yeah, yeah. So, you've been looking for, I always thought there was one King Arthur,
and that he lived in Camelot, with his round table and so on, but you're telling us that's
not the case? It's fairly well known that there were two, and I think it was well known,
certainly in Welsh record, a Reverend Williams wrote a book in 1734 saying there were two,
and you've only got to look at the history. He's supposed to fight the Romans, and then he fights
the Anglo-Saxons. That would make him 250 years old, so it's fairly obvious that he's two people.
Right. If the first real clue on this comes in, in the most famous of British manuscripts is the
Harley in 3859, and there are King lists, and list number four starts off with Masken Wedding,
who is Magnus Maximus. Now, it's well known that Magnus Maximus is the only son of Crispus,
who's the eldest son of Constantine the Great Emperor. Okay. He married twice, his first wife,
and their eldest son was Arthur. Right, this is Arthur I. So, Magnus with Andragathius,
the Roman's god, invades Gaul in 383, which is not 6th century, he is 4th century. Okay. And
they successfully conquered the whole of Western Europe, and they did in Geoffrey of Monmouth,
which we try not to use, and Brutusilio, other records, they fought a great battle with the
Roman Emperor at Sassi. Well, Sassi is Swassons, and that battle did take place. That means 60,
doesn't it? No, it's Swassons, Sassi, I don't know. Either way, the battle was fought,
Gratian loses, they chase him down to Luddenham, Lyons, and they kill him. Right. So, Arthur did
fight against the Romans. Before the Romans, and he was killed by the Romans. He moved on,
well, the whole of Western Europe and most of North Africa went over to Magnus, and he became
Emperor. He was actually the right Emperor, because he was the only son of the eldest son
of Constantine the Great. Okay. So, he was the right guy. They were finally defeated in the
Balkans, two big battles in what was Yugoslavia, they're changing it now, aren't they? Yes,
Croatia and Slovenia. A battle on the Sisica River, and a battle at Poitouville, and Arthur
had to withdraw back, and a surprise move by Theodosius, the Emperor of Constantinople,
captured Magnus at Ravenna. My namesake! That was the end of him. Theodosius! So, but nonetheless,
there was an Arthur I. Okay. Who then returned to the UK, and there are some solid records,
there's a solid record of him in the UK. An Irish prince named Ruth, R-E-U-E-T-H, invaded North
Wales. In the sort of medieval records, he's King of Lyons, and in the Welsh records, he's Rita
Gower, but it's the same guy. He invades Snowdonia and Gwynedd. Okay. Arthur's march to the battle
is recorded in an ancient Welsh poem, and there's a grave mound for old Ruth, up on Snowdonia,
where he was put out for the battle, he lost it. So, it was Arthur I, Ruth Mill? And yeah, that's known to be 367
AD. Okay. So, we've got an Arthur I. So, that's your beginning. We knew there were two, quite early on.
So, what was Arthur I's territory that he ruled? It would have been, well, they seemed to have had
a Teyrn. A Teyrn is a monarch, and under the Teyrn were a number of regional kings.
Certainly, they don't appear to have used currency too much, but it was a main,
you know, one captured Roman legionary in early Roman times was worth 20 cows as a slave.
But nonetheless, his territory would have been the Midlands of England, Warwickshire and across
there, Shropshire, maybe as far as Leicester, and North Wales, Powys, and there wasn't a Wales in England,
then it was just Britain. Yes, but not South Wales, because there's some connection with Glamorgan.
Yeah, he had a brother who is buried in Llanhilleth, and that's in the Songs of the Graves,
very clearly outlined. You go along and there's a great big grave mound right on target.
He would have been titular over most places. They'd have all said he's the boss, you know.
So, that's the way it would have worked, but there were kings in Wales, obviously. Right. Where's the
kingdom? It's not a principality, it's a kingdom. You've got to get that in your head. Kingdom in Wales.
So, Arthur I, where's he buried? The account of the grave of Arthur says that he's in the great
ancient graveyard of the British, where multitudes of the illustrious of the British are buried.
Is this Arthurstone in Warwickshire? There's a place called Oldbury, you see. Oldbury. Oldbury place.
Arthurstone. Arthurstone. Arthurstone. I've been there. And there are multitudes of huge grave
mounds in the woods there, and they've turned it into a nature reserve for bird watching now. Yes.
And that is his place. You see, there are names around it. There seems to be strange Anglo-Saxon,
but one reads granted free without taxation in perfect Welsh. Another one reads free grazing
for sheep, you see. And then there's another Arley, you know, ploughland of the court.
So, by following the ancient records, you found that there were two King Arthurs. You found the
grave of Arthur I. We think so, yes. Okay. And he was... He died around 400, we think. 400. This is
AD. AD. Oh, yes. And then there was a later Arthur. Yes, Arthur II. Well, Arthur I has a son,
Theodore, right? Yes. He has a son, Theodorus, right? He has a son, Theodosius, who became king.
He defeated the Saxons after a terrible massacre. His son was Tudrig, Theodoric, who's buried at
Maffin. There's been twice excavated, a wound in his skull. His son is Meurig, which is Morris. Yes.
And we know where he is. And his son is Arthur II. So, six generations down the male line,
you've got Arthur II. Right. Okay. And what was the kingdom of Arthur II? Was that the same
kingdom, North Wales? Well, I think you've probably got a copy, but he was pronounced
and proclaimed king of Glamorgan. Glamorgan, yes. He's over in Brittany. His knights are there with
him. And it's in the Brutes of England, which are the official histories, medieval histories,
of England. So, this is where Arthur II was originally buried. Yes. And above the thing,
they panned across the side of the wall of the cave. And it's something that happened in America
with us as well. Right. There it is. That's the cave. That's the cave entry. It was sealed up,
and a man from Cardiff went there in 1886, and he got a local guy who worked in a quarry,
and they carefully put little bits of dynamite in and dynamited the sealed wall up. Actually,
you'd get a bit of stalagmite and stalagmite there, and that had flowed down and really sealed
it. So, they blew it apart. He made a good record of what he was doing. So, is this Arthur II who
had Camelot? Yes. Not Arthur I? No, not Arthur II. So, Arthur II had Camelot, had the round table.
Well, keyboard, yeah, keyboard. It was, even in Norman times, it was not taxed. It was the
royal cantrip. You couldn't tax it. It was not taxable. Of this part of Cardiff? That area,
yeah. Is it still like that? A cantrip is like a small county. They split the country up into
cantrip. Like a hundreds or something? Yeah, the field is still there, and you can see the ruins,
and all that. The lady, she's very friendly with us and lets us go on it and look at it.
We don't dig anything. Okay. We don't interfere with it. We're not qualified.
All right, we're talking about upsetting the establishment a bit more. That's part of the
upset. I'm not going to go into the rest, because it'll... Well, I thought I might just poke you in
one direction a little bit. That is, if these ancient kings of Britain that you've turned up,
with all their genealogies and everything else, presumably have descendants, don't they? Yes.
So where does that put the Saxo-Goth Coburgs? Oh, sorry, the Windsors.
I think it sort of puts them in the fourth division.
So do you think that might be a reason why you're sort of quite popular with the establishment?
What has happened? If you get a history written before 1714, Percy Enderby wrote a great history
for Charles I, you'll find that the history of Britain starts with the invasion of Britain by
Albion about 1500 BC. The Welsh have the same histories. In the Brutes of England, the medieval
official histories, they also have the story of Albion. And the second invasion comes about 500 BC
with Brutus coming to Trojan Air. So Brutus isn't a Roman name? Brutus is alleged to be the first
consul of Rome who then went off to, you know, he left Rome and went to other people. This isn't the
et tu Brute Brutus, is it? Oh no, that's Caesar. We're talking about 500 BC, Caesar's 50 BC.
Brutus apparently et tu Brute Caesar had an affair with some lady and Brutus is his son but doesn't
know it. We don't need that. So anyway, you'll find these histories were British history. But
about 1714, they decided they were rubbish and to be abandoned. And one of the main reasons given
was that the Trojan War never happened. Because Troy never existed. Because Troy never existed.
Or it existed in the mind of the poet Melusigenes Homer, right? Homer, yes. So as Troy never existed,
British histories were rubbish. And there was a guy writing this from Oxford in 1891. I've got his
book. Schleimann dug up Troy in 1876 and proved it was there. Because it was found, wasn't it? And this guy's
saying it's a fiction. Yeah, it was found already. So once Troy is found, you say, well hang on, they've
thrown the baby out of the bathwater. They've got rid of our history. This history can't be true
because Troy doesn't exist. That's right. So we decided, no, we would switch and we'd have a look.
See, it's no good putting the roof up and decorating the walls unless you put the foundation down.
So we decided to have a crack at the history of Albine and the history of Brutus.
Right. Does that make sense? Yeah. We're gonna go for it. Albine's history is very basic and it tells
a very plain story. He's got an enemy, he's Diocletian. He's got an enemy named Labanna
and he rules 33 provinces. His daughters have ruled some of them and so on and so on. And his
one of his daughters marries his enemy Labanna, they make peace and Labanna's made a big raid on
his territory. And there's all this detail. Now, Leonard Woolley, who was probably one of the
greatest archaeologists that ever lived, went out and dug up the tombs at Ur, where the third dynasty
of Ur, which is Iraq. They were the big dynasty of antiquity. Dungy was the greatest of the
emperors. British panels call him Diocletian. He had a big enemy named Labanna. The great
king of the Hittites, first big one, was named Labanna. He did attack Dungy kingdom and Dungy
did rule 32 different provinces as stated in the Brutes of England. So in the ancient English
history, there's interesting stories about what's going on in Iraq. Yeah, that's right.
Now, how could they know this? Now, it gets better because in 1939, they found three ships in the
mud of the Humber River. So they said, Viking ships, put them in the museum, Viking. Now,
well, eight to 10 years ago, somebody said, well, let's carbon date some of the timber.
And they came up with 1500 BC, which is nice for the migration of halibut. There is more.
In the vaulted area of Dungy's tomb, they found a table. And on this table,
there were little metal and glass objects, balls like spheres, like comets, I suppose,
and bulls and sheep reclining and standing. When they dug up the lexton mound at Colchester
of King Kinvellin, and don't ask me for a date, I think it was just about 1938,
they found a vaulted table of metal, and they found on it little statues of reclining bulls
and reclining sheep and little balls. Now, that is too big a coincidence for me.
And what it means to me is that there's a little bit more to the Dungy Diocletian setup,
and the Brutes of England, they've got something. Now, the other thing is, if you read Homer,
Homer's assisted by his bailiff to recover his kingdom, and he says to the bailiff,
where do you come from? He said, I come from a big island out in the western ocean.
He said, what's it called? He said, Surrey. Surrey? Exactly, where do you get the word
Surrey from, you see? And yet it's there, Surrey. He says, is the Ark of the Covenant a person,
supposedly Mary, or is it fictitious? What's your view? I think he might be mixing that up
with the Holy Grail, isn't he? I don't know. Do you think it's as it's been pictured? We believe
it is as in the Bible, and we'll come to that, and I would like to answer the gentleman's question
as we go. Okay, well, there's a chap here called Russell from Clantwit Major, I've probably
pronounced that wrongly. Russell from Clantwit Major, yes. Yes, in Glamorgan, Wales. He's reminded
me it's in Wales. Well done. He said he's followed Allen's and Barham's work for many years, and it's
to see if it's finally revealed to the world. Excellent. Excellent. Okay, so there we are,
we're in Italy. By the way, in Clantwit Major, there's a nine foot high stone that weighs seven
tonne, and on it it's got King Aethel. Aethel is one of the two sons of Arthur II. It's got
Iltid, who's the man who buried Arthur, and on the bottom it's got Arthmail, Iron Bear, the Welsh name
Arthur. It's no good looking for Jesus in Wales, you've got to look for Yesu,
I-E-S-U. It's no good looking for George, you're looking for Gwairid. You can't look for Edward,
you've got to look for Iorweth, and so on. So Arthmail, Iron Bear, that's him. Iron Bear is
Arthur, isn't it? It's on this, of course, it's a nine foot stone, it weighs seven tonne,
that's why you can't find it. Anyway, so we're in Italy. We're in Italy. We're looking at this
tablet, and it's got three stories, and the third story is that they again take off,
they take off and they go and follow the little cabinet. Because of the pestilence? No, the
pestilence is the first one, the second one they're forcibly taken away, and the third one
they're unhappy where they are, so they take off and they go and they follow the little cabinet
in the cart to the sea, to the sea being the Dan Mills, I would think. So we think that's the
journey from Egypt under Moses, the deportation under the four Assyrian emperors, Tiglath,
Pileser III, Sagan II, Shalmaneser V and Sennacherib. See in one stele of Sennacherib it
says in one of his deportations he removed 200,120 people, so these are not small groups.
That's a huge diaspora, isn't it? Well they went through Asia Minor, the Greeks call them the
Cimeroi, the Cymru you see, and they were like a tidal wave, nothing could stop them. Half go to Italy,
half stay there. Like locusts in a sense. So the other half stay there and then they
come to Britain in 500. Now we're still translating, we've moved from Italy, we're in the Aegean now.
On the island of Lemnos a stele was found in 1876 and it's plastered with
and there's a guy holding a spear, big guy with a spear and it tells how the people have gathered
there. On the island of Lemnos? Well in the British records they say the people gathered
on the island of Ligotia which is Lemnos. Surely that's further east than Italy? No it's south of
Italy. Yes we've moved, we're going back in time. They've now got their dad and else.
In the records it says they gathered their fleet at this island and here's this stele and it tells
how they've been directed by the god and they're going to sail together to a great green island
out in the western ocean. That's what it says. So they sailed out of the Straits of Gibraltar
through there? To the UK. Now they picked up three or four other groups en route, one with
Corrinus who goes to Cornwall and so on. So here is a story matching the British record of a gathering
on an island to sail to the UK and the secret is this language and alphabet perfectly preserved.
So the evidence is all there if you just look for it? Yeah there's a lot of stelae along through
Turkey and they also are in the same alphabet so you've got it right through the Aegean,
right through Turkey. The Assyrians had it, Austin Layard found it and then we got it on the Copper
Scrolls. Have any academics challenged your interpretation of these alphabets or this
alphabet and this language? No. Would you get in the ring with Mike Tyson? Anytime.
No. Let's talk about the Ark of the Covenant. Yeah sure. Well what we did we realised that
we had an authentic history and it was very very real. So there are 13 ancient tales in Wales
and they're called the Mabinogi. The Mabinogi? No they've restyled them the Mabinogi on which
means children's tales which has shielded them from the church I think but the Mabinogi seems
to mean origins. The first four are tales of origin and that means the origin of the
solar system in the universe. You've got things like Malaluk is the flood and he marries Bronwen,
white breast breaking waves and her brother is the great thunder god Bran and so on and
the flood and the breaking waves are receding and they have a son who is Gwerin which means a swamp
so you start to see that it's flood creation. Let me just interrupt you for a second to say that
we're going to put up Alan Wilson's website on the screen in a moment so if you get a pen and
paper you can write it down. So the Mabinogi... So we realised that these were genuine tales
saying things about storms and comets coming into our solar system, Venus going out of orbit which
is matching the ancient observations of Babylonian and other observatories. They say all these guys
didn't know what they were doing because Venus didn't do that, it did. So we then had a new
couple of other stories which really are how to read the stories. You follow me? It's all wound
up with names but they really talk about planets and so on. But the last three are important and
the last three are Peridot, son of Herod. Peridot is steel shirt, he's the planet Jupiter. There's
Geront and Enid. Geront is Mars, strength. And the other one is Owen and Owen is Orion. When you realise
they're solar stories you can realise that we've got constellations in the heavens and the planets
move through the constellations because they orbit in the sun. My colleague asked me one day he said
what's the name of that mound? Oblidia. I said it means the ferocious warrior.
And then a big penny dropped. We don't look at Greek and Roman things, we look at ancient Hebrew
as far as we can, ancient Egyptians and ancient Babylonian names. The names that they gave to the
star that we know as Hercules is the ferocious warrior. Then we realised there's another big
mound called Tumbalum, the he-goat, Capricorn. And in another place there's a shrine hidden in
the little teeny valley. I don't know if ten people know where it is in Wales and it shows
the Egyptian goddess nut stretched out in an arch and other things. So we knew we had these three.
If we had three we could triangulate and find Polestar and bang right on target we've got a
I don't know if there's 70 or 80 of these mounds and they're big they're not little
some they're monster mounds of earth and we realised that these mounds form a gigantic
star map on the landscape that is one of the outlying stars of Orion. What you're saying
is that on the ground in Wales there's a huge mound man-made mounds placed in the same positions
as a map of the stars? Yeah you get three up on the on the Garth mountain at the Panturch and
they're the belt of Orion and you find all the others then you once you find one or two you can
actually go out and look for the other you can go and look for them and spot them. Okay. Big ship
Argo is traceable. So you've probably seen enough of those now. So you looked at these
star maps. They're much bigger than that most of them anyway. You looked at these star maps. Yes.
And what did it tell you? What did they tell you these star maps? Well we had a little diagram up
there and what happens this game there's another one this game of Goedbel star knowledge is played
between Arthur and Prince Owen and they said oh it's chess it's not it's star knowledge.
Three games are won by Arthur and a rider comes each time to warn Owen that his soldiers are
being defeated. Three games are won by Owen and another rider each time a rider comes to tell
his boys are in trouble from giant ravens. Now this mirrors an ancient this is a story in the
Mabinogi and you can find the site where this took place because Arthur's servant is a red man on a
red horse with a red cloak and you know you got these white horses on things on the other side
of England. Well we've got a red man a red horse and one in Wales but nobody writes about that
keep quiet you know it's there giant thing that's where this game takes place. Each of the six
riders has got an emblem one's got an emblem on his helmet on his shield of a serpent another
the camel lepardus the leopard another has got a lion Leo you know and each one has a
solar or stellar emblem. If you go to the Synganet valley for four miles along the side of the valley
right along the head tops each side and two miles across the top is a ditch and a mound can't be for
water because it goes up and down and there are six monuments laid out around the side three on
each side and we realised the pole star is in the Synganet valley that these are directions to the
different serpents Leo so this is the central star then this mound is therefore this was was
really central to us building the star map Synganet valley. People say what are the
Synganet mounds? Synganet is not Saint Kenneth the son of Gildas it's the senate place of the nation
that's it's more important than you think so we were able to look at this and we
realised that I heard when I was a child there's a legend in North Cardiff and north of Cardiff
and most people knew it when I was young and it's a great wooden chest is buried
containing a great treasure and it's guarded by two gig van gogh giant ravens which it looks very
much like the ark of the covenant which has got these two I didn't realise that for years
I didn't and people until recently anyway going out on a Sunday afternoon the sunny weather and
that with their metal detectors having some sandwiches and looking for it and two brothers
they were out about 14 years ago and they sat down to have lunch and they had their
metal detectors and they put the metal detectors down as they sat down one had left his turned on
and it went beep beep beep they thought they'd found it but actually it found 90,000 pounds
worth of Roman coins the point is they were looking for this giant treasure chest now it
sounds awfully like the ark doesn't it well it does to me because the pictures of the ark are
with two kneeling angels yeah on the on the top of the well they're cherubim and that's a ferocious
winged monster not angels believe me anyway either way we reasoned that if we found Leo
and the star Regulus there's two first magnitude stars in Regulus one's anabolic Leo if we've got
Regulus if we found Regulus the emblem of the tribe of Judea is the lion so let's go for
the lion there's a huge mound right on target now Onys Abul means enclosure or special place of the
notch this is the name of BWL is it yeah let's get a picture of that up this is 55 please okay
but Onys Abul BYL or BIL means enclosure of the ark now the Welsh are famous for misdirecting
the central area of it is called Golug
that's the site of the mound it's a giant mound of Regulus in Leo you see it's not regular
the central area is Golug which means place of worship now somebody in antiquity has built a
no gate originally no gate anyway the other thing is if you look at it you can see that it's too
smooth that it is not natural there's nothing natural that's a larger one close up x marks the
spot so hold on let me just tie you down here Alan by all means go ahead is this where the ark of the
there are five depressions which are ball-shaped in the earth and there are pits in them yes full
of white stones okay chalk no they're white stones and they the stones are actually brought from
Carmel they're not found anywhere else and the way of draining an underground chamber in Britain
they had to drain it because of British conditions in the bottom of the pit of the chamber
leading down to a pit full of white stones which is in a ball-shaped depression so the water would
come down out of the chamber seep out and drift away it wouldn't flood out and there are five of
these and that they are nothing else other than ancient drains they are I know we know that so
this mound it's got five ancient drains on the north side and there's signs of tunneling you can
see the lines on the bottom there yes well they friend of ours said one of those tram lines
well it can only be one thing and there's stones thrown out of a tunnel and when you throw they
tumble down the hill and there's signs of tunneling there now what we did we got ground
penetration radar which we're not very good at working so we need a better person yeah that's
right well that's another thing and we also have this wonderful metal detector of ours you see
and we put that on it and went on with the farmer's permission of course and it's obviously
man-made and bingo up we've got an object there four feet long two feet wide and it's non-ferrous
metal but it is metal oh it's metal I mean the machine goes and if it hits metal it goes bing
so deep in that mound we don't know how deep it is but we know it's not near the surface not near
the ship deep in that mound then is a metal object which is non-ferrous metal yeah which is the shape
and size that the ark is supposed to be as described in the bible yeah you know so many
cubits by selling on a place which could be the the place of it's definitely the place
enclosure of the ark well it's you know it's quite a revelatory show this isn't it it's good stuff
we found the graves of two king arthurs yeah we did one other thing again uh as you get to the
gap in the wall if you walk up the side of the mound you get on the north side you get a gap
in the wall to go through and you can still see the mound going on ahead above you you know so
you've got a bit of climbing to do a friend of ours put the cursor on the uh that you move on
with google earth oh he got to that spot and it was 900 and say two feet and as he moved across
he should go up 60 feet he didn't stay at 902 feet 903 so it doesn't show the modern the stuff
that's man-made it doesn't show them so we had a conference you know them in cardiff us up here in
newcastle and we wanted to we both had google earth on and i said let's go to the empire state
building in new york so we're on the street now when you get off the street you go to the
empire state building you should go up 1200 feet it didn't went down 60 feet it doesn't matter
me right you know what i mean i do know i would create an icon like that and i would get into
this history positively and exploit it no we've never touched a site that we find no you haven't
dug no because no no no but actually somebody's texting in here they said it might be a bad idea
to state where there is metal buried even if it is the ark some people might dig it up for scrap
metal oh come on well they might dig it up one thing there's a guy breeds dogs down the one end
of the hill there's a sort of park ranger guy who's responsible for seeing the countryside is
all in one order on the other side there are two farmhouses that side and a manor house oh yeah
they all know they know and we told them that the ark is all we've told them we know above board
we're always above board with farmers you never tell them anything about the truth but surely
they're busy farming sheep and you come along and say this i mean they're
yes you're sitting on top of the ark of the covenant that's going to make your day isn't it
yeah i think they're fairly open-minded but i think they would as we would welcome academic
participation and we would welcome it we have no bonds about it we did try that we got somebody in
the astronomical astronomy department of cardiff university very interested in this
and the mirror and he went to the history department and he went to the archaeologists
and said look i was getting involved with this you know and they wouldn't they wouldn't because
they said they'd been sort of a bust up with us there's been a bust up we never spoke with them
how do you have a bust up with somebody i suppose because your research is so out of line with their
accepted history of britain that fine they don't want to face that prove us wrong of the cross that's
the mother of constantine the great the great empress wife of constantine claurus emperor and
she goes to sinai with a couple of legions footstep the moses he went to jerusalem 325 326 ad and she
said give me the cross i want it and of course there was a this is the cross of jesus the cross
of jesus is nailed on you see well after a lot of torture and one thing or the other she extorts
she gets this piece of timber she makes the nails into a bridal bed for her son's horse
constantine the great saints that the peasant is constantly noble which he's building which
she realizes he wants this now she's british you see so she gets in her ships and she sails back
to the uk and this is recorded in the exeter book and anglo-saxon is regarding 25 different
histories so the cross is in the uk okay when edward ii killed the well in the last in north
wales he demanded that he'd hand over the cross to him and he said we can't i think we need to
backtrack a little bit on there and so anyway the point is so you're saying that part of the cross
that christ yeah was crucified on that's what they're saying then i don't know it's genuine
but that's what she thought this is in the histories you're saying it's in histories
and it's it's in the uk so we said let's go and look for it there's no stopping you is there
so wait a minute there's there's there's actually a record written around 920 and recopied about 1100
where the cross is
okay so what could be easier where is that it's in west wales it's in west
wales that's a bit of a broad palette isn't well how much you want to know
again you've got a star pattern down there and people who buy yourself a star map a little
ghetto star map you'll see cygnus the swan yes well cygnus the swan is the shape of a cross it's
there's two outlying one big one one big one and one big one down here seven so we know that that's
marking the cross area so they've made mounds on the ground no down there down there there's
the castle of the great helen in welsh it's a ruined castle where's that in west wales you know
newport area newport newport newport pembrokeshire pembrokeshire north cardigan okay uh there's the
castle of great helen the ridge baron kevin baron the ridge of the empress the river of the
empress baron baron the river of the sanctuary and so on and uh i said to richard why i made
it was done i said can you get up on canningley the highest spot there you know get a telescope
or something and see if you can find anything between down the center line of the cross you
know he said there's a strange pile of big white stones in the field
but these big white stones they must cover about 20 yards by about five or six now but they appear
to have been laid out in a boat shape which is early christian in wales anyway and they're the
size of this desk nearly they're whacking big stones well each one is the size of these yes
then i'll have to say something she says is there a palace of the kings in glamorgan
yes no 652 a.d. a comet struck britain we haven't talked about the comet have we it
devastated the whole of britain and much of britain was the people were destroyed and killed
the remnant you couldn't enter the devastated lands for six seven to eleven years the army
was taken over to britain and waited and arthur was over in britain arthur's second
comet devastated britain this was written out of the history books you see the ankles and
saxons then moved in from germany into empty lands that's how all the roman towns and roman
style towns and cities in britain were devastated now when we started saying this of course there's
an uproar but professor michael bailey of queen's college belfast he noted that his
dendrochronologist trees uh-huh he noted that all the forests of britain and ireland were devastated
at this time and what was the year he thought it was 535 but we said 562
hold on can we there is a map of uh the world with the line on it where that's where it went
if we can find that picture i'm not sure where it is from my list you find that and show it
anyway the uh the point is that you couldn't say that debris from a comet had hit planet earth
because the church had gone nuts the roman church north storm could fall from earth on the earth
from the skies you see it wasn't till 1803 when strikes of comets they had to admit and that this
is the path of the comet now what's happening now in bolivia scientists from the university
of pencil south pennsylvania the chicago museum and austin university in texas are all over bolivia
and what has happened and they've got a pretty good date on this they say 562 bolivia was
devastated by debris from a comet so this is where it landed then in bolivia the land was
uninhabitable for about seven eleven years identical the pyramids the wind and mud brick
the palaces the towns the walls the cities everything was destroyed and the only survivors
had to move down to the coast to survive identical story in britain identical story in bolivia
same time so you're saying that this comet passed over britain over wales yeah caused a huge amount
of devastation and then carried on across the atlantic it devastated parts of ireland and
so it did happen um gregory of tours the history of frank's mentions out of both islands as ireland
and britain would was set on fire from end to end and destroyed and the date is again right
so that's after the destruction of arthur's britain and now in the medieval romances you
get the great wastelands where it's death to enter the great wastelands and we searched for
place names to see if we can do something about that but this destruction of britain by a comet
that's why the you see the archaeologist was saying at one time a hundred years ago population
of britain in caesar's time five hundred thousand then it became a million then they crept up to
two million and then it got to be over the years they're taking aerial photographs now which he
couldn't do before it's up to eight to nine million now this is a very big powerful country
