After Pujol, this is the probably the number two fine dining establishment in all of Mexico.
Today I'm going to walk you to and through Polanco, Mexico City's luxury neighborhood.
We'll get brunch, we'll walk through some parks, I'll show you the main areas in Polanco,
we'll walk by Pujol and Quintonil so you can see what those look like, and more. If you like this
video or want to help support Interesting, please like and subscribe. And if you know someone that
might like this video, please feel free to share it with them. Let's go. It's Saturday, we're
heading out to do a few morning activities or an itinerary. Yunji does not know where we're going,
so I'm not going to say anything here. We're going to eat at a few places today,
see some things, and I'll be sharing that all with you. Let's go.
We are more or less officially in Polanco. Behind me is the famous churro spot El Morro.
Let's cruise into this neighborhood and find something to eat.
So we're here at Eno, we might get brunch here. We're going to check out the menu. I ate here
one of the first times I came to Mexico City and stayed in Polanco. I believe this might
be owned by Enrique Oliveira, the owner of Pujol. Let's check out the menu.
So we're here at Eno, we got an outdoor table,
going to order some drinks and food, and then we'll head to the next spot.
Good morning, let's have some coffee to get the day
cracked. I think the cortado is most similar to a macchiato, so it's a lot less milk and foam
than a cappuccino. And then an espresso is good, but if you're going to sit down and relax,
you'll finish an espresso pretty quick, so good compromise.
So this is the mollete, don't know what that translates to, obviously some sort of cheesy
bread because that's what I'm looking at. I found that on Google Maps in the reviews,
I'll talk about that later. Super, super, super, super bomb.
Very happy I put the pico on there. You've got some kind of melted cheese on top of the palm,
sorry I'm choking, and then some sort of like fresh or like creme friche type thing,
and there's refried beans on the bread, the bread is really good. This pico
looks super simple, but everything's cut so small, it's so, so good.
And then the pro tip, agua de gripo, tap water, hashtag gripo. That is actually really,
really good for you. So this is like something if I was super drunk I would want to make,
but like a refined version, and then it's really good as breakfast. I don't know why,
I'm sure it'd be good on the late night too, but something makes this work for brunch.
So this is the fancy egg in a hole, sun-dried tomato, some type of cheese we'll have to look up,
parmesan cheese, and then really thick like rye bread or something.
Refined egg in a hole. All right, wrapped up brunch, gonna walk around Polanco, show a few
things, starting with the Airbnb I stayed at last time. I guess that's more for me,
but stay tuned to see as well. So this is where it all started, kind of, not really. This was the
Airbnb we stayed at. I forget what floor we were on, but we definitely had a balcony
to hang out on and drink and to let the mosquitoes in.
I'm in front of El Faralito here in Polanco, not to be confused with the burrito spot in San Francisco.
El Faralito actually has like 10 plus locations around Mexico City. They're known for staying
open late night, and this is also on Avenue Isaac Newton, the same as the Airbnb we just went to.
We're going to stay on the street to go to another restaurant and show you the outside.
Shout out to Master of None season three.
So filming outside here of Quintanilla, we're on the same Avenue Isaac Newton. This is one of the
top restaurants in the city or even in the country. It's on the world's top 50, started by
an ex-chef that worked at Pujol. So just wanted to show you the outside.
Here we are in the most famous spot in Polanco, Pujol. This is their second location. The place
we ate breakfast or brunch at Eno's actually their original location. But yeah, here's Pujol.
So we are in Parque America, I think. This is the biggest park in kind of central Polanco,
and we are headed to the main event. Gonna leave it a surprise.
If you want to peek and see, just check the, you know, show more details for the skip to link.
So we are in Antara luxury mall, and I believe the only location of an Apple store in Mexico
City. I just wanted to walk through here to give you a vibe of what a mall looks like.
And we're about 10 minutes from our main attraction.
So this is going to be TMI for most of you, but having coffee and fresh cheese
as the first thing in your stomach lends itself to problems.
I'll be uploading a separate video of inside the Sumaya museum and post that here.
Did I miss any of your favorite Polanco spots? If so, please let me know in the comments.
