The founder of Lifewood shares his inspiring story on the importance of sustainability in crafting world-class timber floors. #lifewoodstory #aboutus #lifewoodhistory #flooringcompany #solidtimberflooring #engineeredtimberflooring
I smell those amazing smells and listen to the birds and just feel the serenity of the
Australian bush. I think wow wouldn't that be great to have that in your own home.
The Australian forest to me is just an amazing place where you can just be yourself, relax
and enjoy the beauty that nature has to offer. And in a way that's inspired my work at Lifewood
it's been very challenging to produce these amazing timbers. It's a very difficult industry
to master, it's a very difficult product to master, but I believe we've mastered it and
I believe that every customer has the chance to experience that beauty for themselves.
One of my dreams at Lifewood was to create a very ethical log sourcing or tree sourcing
program. It's why we only source logs that come from sustainable sources.
I grew up in the country, I love the Australian farmers. We love supporting them,
we love buying their wood, making sure their tree resources don't get wasted
and we ensure they get paid well and on time.
