KINGSTON – Democratic-Socialist Assemblywoman Sarahana Shrestha of Esopus easily won reelection to her 103rd District.
Her agenda continues to focus on the needs of the people.
“We should not have people who live in one of the richest countries in the world and one of the richest states in the world scrambling to make their basic needs met,” she said. “This is the State of New York where FDR was once our governor and these of things he fought for.”
Shrestha was born in Kathmandu, Nepal, and moved to the United States in 2001.
