GREENBURGH – Police are investigating a report of a person who had jumped from the Cuomo Tappan Zee Bridge over the Hudson River between Rockland and Westchester.
The call came in at 2:20 a.m. with the person reported to have jumped on the southbound span of the bridge in the Town of Greenburgh.
The State Police Underwater Recovery Team and drone unit were assisted by the Coast Guard, Rockland and Westchester counties marine units, and Rockland County Aviation in searching the Hudson River.
The investigation is continuing.
