Los Angeles — Dancing With the Stars Season 35 Reveals Week 6 Songs for Dedication Night

Dancing With the Stars is bringing back Dedication Night, giving celebrity contestants an opportunity to honor the people who have played important roles in their lives.

Scheduled for October 20, the annual event features emotional performances dedicated to loved ones, including parents, spouses and children. This season’s song selections have been revealed through PEOPLE, a sister publication of Entertainment Weekly.

The upcoming show follows the elimination of fan-favorite contestant Guillermo Rodriguez during last week’s Super Bowl Night. Rodriguez and his pregnant professional partner, Witney Carson, were voted off after performing a salsa routine to Bad Bunny’s “Tití Me Preguntó.”

The Jimmy Kimmel Live star’s departure was also felt by his fellow contestants. Following the October 13 live show, Paralympian Ezra Frech spoke to Entertainment Weekly about his friendship with Rodriguez.

“He is a magnetic human being and just brings love and joy into everything he does,” Frech said. “I’m so sad that he has to go, but he and I will be friends forever.”

Frech also reflected on their close bond, saying, “That man will be a part of my life forever.”

With Dedication Night approaching, the remaining celebrity contestants and their professional partners are preparing performances inspired by the people and connections that matter most to them.
