KINGSTON – The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Intelligence Unit has arrested 11 incarcerated people on charges that they violated active orders of protection through prohibited phone contact.
The Intimate Partner Domestic Violence Initiative investigation was conducted in conjunction with the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office.
The investigation ran from May through August.
Charges including criminal contempt and aggravated family offense.
