Man treated for wound to head after New Rochelle gunfire incident

NEW ROCHELLE – Police are continuing to investigate an incident of shots being fired near 2 Harrison Street in New Rochelle at around 10:45 p.m. on Sunday, OIctober 4.
When police got to the scene, they found a man lying in front of a deli there, conscious but bleeding from the back of his head.
He was transported to a local hosptal where he was listed in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
His name was being withheld at this time.
Police are trying to identify any witnesses to the incident. An anonymous individual reported seeing two men dressed in black running toward Cedar Street shortly after the shooting.
