HAVERSTRAW – Three Rockland County men have been arrested by authorities in connection with the Marech 5, 2023 homicide of Eric Quinones, who was fatally shot outside his home at the Manors Apartments in Pomona, Town of Haverstraw Police Chief John Gould Jr. announced Tuesday night.

Following an extensive investigation by Haverstraw Town detectives, the FBI and the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, the three have been arrested and federally charged in connection with the events surrounding the murder.

Jaquey Wilkes, 29, and Tyrone Stewart, 35, both of Nyack, have been charged with robbery, firearms offenses, and murder. Wilkes, Stewart and Leroy Simpson, 33, of Pomona, have also been charged with narcotics conspiracy.

Chief Gould said additional information about the case will be released in the coming days.
