ELLENVILLE – A 30-year-old Ellenville woman has been charged with murder in connection with the death of her 10-year-old daughter on August 18, 2025.
State Police said Angelica Sullivan was arrested on Thursday, September 24 in the death of Kathleen Pulido following a year-long investigation by the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office.
Police were called to the family residence on Park Street in Ellenville for a report of an unresponsive girl. She was transported to Ellenville Regional Hospital and pronounced dead.
Troop F BCI Captain Brad Natalizio said despite the difficult natural of investigating a child’s death, police “remained focused on following the evidence and conducting a thorough and objective investigation.
Assisting in the investigation were Ellenville Village Police, the Ulster County DA’s Office, Ulster Child Advocacy Center, Ulster County Child Protective Services, Orange County Family Violence Unit and Orange County Protective Services.
