PAWLING – A 46-year-old Pawling man was arrested by state troopers last week on three misdemeanor charges of touching women without their consent.  Ismael Sipteyul was charged with three counts of forcible touching, arraigned in Dover Justice Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail, $10,000 bond, or $30,000 partially-secured bond on September 15.

State police investigators say that, on three separate occasions while employed as a handyman at an apartment complex in the Town of Dover, Sipteyul forcibly touched three adult female victims without their consent.

Sipteyul is scheduled to reappear before the Town of Dover Court on October 20, 2026, at 4 p.m.

The New York State Police are asking anyone who believes they may have been a victim of similar conduct involving Sipteyul, to contact the New York State Police at 845-677-7300.
