The New York Giants 53-man roster was finalized on Sunday night. Many New York fans were wondering if wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was going to make the team or not. Well, Beckham did make the team. He was one of five wide receivers who made the team. Beckham did catch five passes for 70 yards receiving and zero touchdowns, along with averaging 14.0 yards per reception during the pre-season. Malik Nabers, Darnell Mooney, Malachi Fields, and Darius Slayton were the other four wide receivers on the Giants roster who made the team. New York decided to release Jalin Hyatt on Sunday as well.

This wide receiver room for quarterback Jaxson Dart is a good wide receiver room. Beckham will be putting on a Giants uniform in a regular season game for the first time since the 2018 NFL season. He started his career with New York from 2014-2018. Beckham did not play in a single game last NFL season. This was an interesting decision by head coach John Harbaugh and general manager Joe Schoen to keep him on the roster here.

It remains to be seen what kind of role Beckham is going to have in this offense this season. If he can turn back the clock for the Giants this season, a lot of fans will be nostalgic about it no doubt. The truth is that Beckham is 33 years old and may not have much left in the tank for his NFL career. However, Nabers and Fields are going to be the top wide receivers in New York’s offense this season with Isaiah Likely as the number one tight end option also.
