College Football Analyst Gives Brutal Take About the Georgia Bulldogs As the 2026 College Football S

The Georgia Bulldogs were the last team from the SEC Conference to win the national title in college football during the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 college football seasons. Georgia has also won the SEC Conference title several times as of late as well. Head coach Kirby Smart is the king in this conference at the moment.

They have had players who have been drafted into the NFL as well. It appears as if the Bulldogs might be the only team in the SEC who can win another national title this season. Georgia is the third ranked team in the nation as the 2026 college football season approaches in the AP Poll.

There are reasons why Georgia continues to be ranked near the top of the college football landscape every year. The Bulldogs always have talent on the roster. One of the issues has been the offensive side of the football. Gunner Stockton will be the starting quarterback for Georgia once again this season. A lack of explosiveness could be a concern this season. Chris Vannini of the Athletic said,

“The defense and running game should return to form. I just wonder whether the Dawgs can find the explosive plays they lacked in 2025.”

If Georgia’s offense could be explosiveness this season, the Bulldogs might be able to finally win it all in college football. That’s what they had a few years ago. Other teams in the BIG10 Conference have that. Georgia needs to find another gear on offense. They lost to the Ole Miss Rebels in the college football playoffs last season.
