The Cleveland Browns hired Todd Monken as the franchise’s next head coach in the off-season after they fired Kevin Stefanski. For some strange reason, Cleveland kept Andrew Berry as the general manager of this franchise. Well, there is a reason why Berry was kept and he has been perfect for owner Jimmy Haslam.

The Browns organization is naming Deshaun Watson the week one starting quarterback against the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road over Shedeur Sanders. There is a reason why Cleveland’s organization continues to be bad constantly. Haslam can’t get out of his own way and there is a reason why the Browns fanbase keeps on suffering with this ownership. Haslam should be forced to sell the team, but this isn’t the story here. The story is that some people think that Monken could be a one-and-done head coach after being the Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator the last couple of seasons.

Many Cleveland Browns Fans Think Todd Monken Will Be a One-And-Done Head Coach

After having a 5-12 record last season, Cleveland is on track for another bad season with Watson named the starting quarterback. Well, many people think that Monken is going to be the scapegoat after the 2026 NFL season when this season goes south. This is what some fans had to say about him on Twitter:

Todd Monken wants to be a one and done coach for sure. That’s a lot of faith in a washed up QB https://t.co/dDjrRw66C5

Todd Monken welcome to one and done baby! You had a chance to endear yourself to Browns fans and you blew it.

Lol Todd Monken is going to be one and done with the Browns and then come crawling back to Harbaugh with the Giants like originally planned

Would it surprise anyone if Todd Monken was one and done in Cleveland when this Deshaun Watson experiment INEVITABLY blows up in his face and makes the city an even bigger laughing stock than it already has been? #Browns

Todd Monken, one & done as HC.

There will be some interesting things to watch out for with Monken this season. He probably didn’t want to start Watson, but Haslam told him to probably because of his contract situation.
