Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon killed at least 11 people Saturday, including three children, according to Lebanon’s Health Ministry and state media.
The deadliest strike hit a home near the village of Ansar, where seven people were killed.
Lebanese officials said three of those killed were children.
Two other people were initially reported wounded in the attack.
A separate Israeli strike targeted Deir al-Zahrani and also caused multiple casualties.
Lebanon’s Health Ministry initially reported that two people had been killed and nine others injured there.
Later reports raised the death toll from the Deir al-Zahrani strike to four.
Combined with the seven deaths near Ansar, the attacks brought Saturday’s reported death toll in southern Lebanon to at least 11.
The strikes come amid continuing concerns over the stability of the ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah, with recurring attacks in southern Lebanon highlighting how vulnerable the arrangement remains.
Lebanese authorities did not immediately provide additional details about the identities of the victims or the circumstances surrounding the strikes.
