OSSINING- Firefighters from throughout northern Westchester, Putnam, and Rockland counties returned to quarters Saturday morning following a massive fire Friday night that destroyed a portion of an apartment complex in Ossining.
Officials said a bolt of lightning struck Building 1 at the Parth Knolls complex–a multi-story wood frame dwelling on Hawkes Avenue that ignited the structure with flames quickly spreading.
