TOWN OF NEWBURGH – If you work in the greater Town of Newburgh area use I-84 to get to work, you may want to give yourself some extra time next week.
The State Department of Transportation is advising motorists that I-84 will be reduced to one lane with brief traffic slowdowns between Exit 36 (State Route 17K) and Exit 37 (State Route 52) to facilitate bridge rehabilitation work, beginning Monday, August 10, through Thursday, August 13, between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning.
Construction activities are weather dependent and subject to change based on conditions.
