“Might Start Week 1′: NFL Fans Think the Arizona Cardinals Should Start QB Carson Beck In Week 1

The Arizona Cardinals faced the Carolina Panthers in the Hall of Fame Game on Thursday night in Canton, Ohio. Quarterback Carson Beck got the start for Arizona. He was a third-round rookie pick from the Miami Hurricanes. Beck was impressive for Arizona during the game. He completed 15-of-19 passes for 188 yards and one touchdown. There were a lot of people who were impressed with him. It helps that Mike LaFleur is his head coach.

There are a lot of NFL fans who are convinced that Beck should be the Week 1 starting quarterback against the Los Angeles Chargers despite only playing in one preseason game. This is what some fans had to say about it on Twitter:

The Cardinals would be better off as a franchise making Beck the starter the whole season instead of Minshew and Brissett. Those two have been in the NFL long enough to know what they can do. The 23-year-old is excited to be playing again. They will next play against the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday, August 13th and have two other games after that. If Beck can play, Arizona can find other needs in the 2027 NFL Draft. If not, then the Cardinals can find another quarterback in the 2027 NFL Draft also.
