The appearance follows Trump’s visit to Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, where he addressed a Republican National Committee fundraising event.
White House officials said the Las Vegas remarks will focus on the administration’s Working Families Tax Cuts, including provisions eliminating federal taxes on qualifying tips, overtime earnings and Social Security income.
“President Trump will visit Las Vegas to highlight how his Working Families Tax Cuts are delivering real results for American workers. By passing no tax on tips, no tax on Social Security, and no tax on overtime, President Trump and Republicans guaranteed Americans receive bigger paychecks and keep more of their hard-earned money,” Assistant White House Press Secretary Liz Houston said in a statement.
“The President will remind Nevadans that every single Democrat opposed these commonsense reforms and fought to massively raise taxes on working families.”
Las Vegas has served as a recurring location for Trump’s promotion of his tax agenda. He held the first rally of his second term in the city in January 2025, only days after returning to office.
During that appearance, Trump renewed his commitment to eliminating taxes on tips, a campaign proposal with particular significance in Nevada’s hospitality-driven economy. Congress later enacted the policy as part of the One Big Beautiful Bill.
Trump also raised the possibility during the 2025 speech of eventually eliminating federal income taxes entirely for working-class Americans.
He returned to Las Vegas in April 2026 and again emphasized the enactment of the no-tax-on-tips provision for service-industry employees.
Wednesday’s event gives Trump another opportunity to present the tax package as a central achievement of his second term while contrasting Republican economic policies with Democratic opposition to the legislation.
The president was scheduled to begin speaking at 4:30 p.m. Eastern time.
The address can be watched live from Red Rock Casino.
