The war with Iran did not come out of nowhere.
For years, the world watched Iran build its influence across the Middle East, fund terror groups, threaten Israel, target American interests and push forward with its nuclear ambitions. Too many leaders talked. Too many diplomats delayed. Too many people pretended evil would behave itself if we just gave it enough money, time and excuses.
That is not how the real world works.
Iran has never hidden who it is. Its leaders have chanted death to America and death to Israel for decades. They have backed groups that spread violence across the region. They have used proxies, missiles, drones and fear as weapons. And now the world is seeing what happens when threats are ignored until they become war.
This conflict is not just about Iran and Israel. It is about the balance of power in the Middle East. It is about protecting innocent people. It is about whether America still has the strength to stand with our allies and confront enemies before they grow stronger.
War is ugly. It always is. Families suffer. Civilians pay a price. Markets shake. Oil prices rise. Soldiers are put in harm’s way. And everyday people are left wondering what comes next.
But peace does not come from weakness.
Peace comes when evil knows there will be consequences. Peace comes when America leads with strength. Peace comes when our enemies understand that we will defend our people, our allies and our national security.
The Iran war should be a wake-up call. The world is still dangerous. Bad actors are still watching. And America cannot afford leaders who apologize for strength, abandon allies or pretend that words alone can stop missiles.
We should pray for peace. We should pray for wisdom. We should pray for our military, our leaders and innocent families caught in the middle.
But we should also remember this: weakness invites war. Strength helps prevent it.
America must be clear. We do not seek endless war. We do not want more bloodshed. But we also cannot close our eyes while regimes that hate freedom threaten the world.
This is a serious moment. And serious moments require strong leadership, clear moral vision and the courage to tell the truth.
