FALLSBURG – A driver who failed to comply with police when they attempted to stop him on Brickman Road in Fallsburg on June 23, has been arrested days later.
Sullivan County Sheriff’s deputies took Bjorn Egenes, 37, into custody at a residence in Monticello on June 27.
He was turned over to Fallsburg Police on an arrest warrant charging him with felony reckless endangerment and misdemeanors of unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, reckless driving, aggravated unlicensed operation and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration.
He was arraigned and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail without bail pending a future court appearance.
Assisted Fallsburg Police were the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office, State Police and Woodridge Village Police.
