NEWBURGH- The City of Newburgh’s recently hired director of recreation has been arrested and charged with a violation of harassment.
City officials said on June 16, Newburgh Police arrested Nicholas Galella, 32, of Newburgh, following an incident between the director and another employee that occurred the previous day.
Authorities said the city’s investigation into the incident is ongoing.
