The potential exists for ‘P-Hustle’ to be hustled out of the campaign.

The legal mechanism purportedly is already on the books for replacing Graham Platner, the Nazi torso-tattoo guy, on the general election ballot even if he wins, as expected, the Democrat primary for U.S. Senate in Maine tomorrow.

Despite all of his baggage that [your]NEWS has extensively chronicled, the Democrat hierarchy is still supporting, at least publicly, the so-called oyster farmer in an effort to unseat incumbent GOP Senator Susan Collins.

It remains to be seen, of course, if the pandering liberal political establishment will continue to circle the wagons around Platner or instead eventually convince him/force him to step aside as they did with, e.g., Eric Swalwell and Joe Biden.

In a message on X (formerly Twitter), Henry Olsen, a senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center in D.C., explained the following, along with a link to the specific provision of state law that allows for a post-primary replacement candidate.

“Per Maine law, Platner can quit after he is nominated without providing a reason prior to 5 pm on the 2d Monday in July. The state party then names a replacement prior to 5 pm on the 4th Monday in July. See link for details.”

Although Platner leads Collins in the polls, assuming the data is accurate, and maybe winning is all that matters to power-hungry Democrats, there seems to be a general sense that more tawdry allegations may surface.

Even the far-left Atlantic Magazine has some doubts about Graham Platner: “…new revelations have emerged that challenge Platner’s claims that his misdeeds are well behind him…”

Democrat Gov. Janet Mills suspended her Senate campaign as Platner gained traction, but she is still on the primary ballot.

Described by a former Trump administration official as the fakest of the fake left-wing populists, Platner has positioned himself as a working-class Mainer, even though – according to various reports — he was educated at expensive private schools, his daddy paid for his house, and his mommy buys most of his oysters.

“Democrats are scrambling to contain the damage after Platner admitted to sexting women ‘soon’ after getting married, then faced a New York Times report where ex-girlfriend Lyndsey Fifield accused him of twisting her arm during an argument and locking her in a bedroom and keeping her there until she was ‘calm,’” the New York Post reported on June 6.

That the New York Times, which is basically an extension of the Democrat Party, has published negative stories – even if somewhat watered down – about Platner’s alleged interactions with women seems to be a signal that liberal decision-makers might want him to go away.

“Fifield, after sharing stories with the Times of Platner’s alleged abusive behavior, went public to complain that the newspaper had failed to include the corroboration she had provided,” George Washington Univ. law professor Jonathan Turley asserted.

U.S. Senator John Fetterman (D-Pa.) has even vowed to give up his signature hoodie if Platner provides evidence of never texting minors.

On May 30, Jon Fetherston of the Maine Wire had reported the following:

“…Platner is facing fresh scrutiny after a sexually suggestive profile tied to him was discovered on Kik, a messaging application that anti-exploitation groups have described as a haven for online predators and child exploitation.

“The account, operating under the username ‘phustle0331,’ appears to mirror usernames Platner has previously used on other platforms, including the Reddit handle ‘P-Hustle,’ which Platner has publicly acknowledged belonged to him…”

Platner already ignited controversy over offensive or vulgar P-Hustle posts on Reddit.

On Sunday, Steve Robinson, the Maine Wire’s editor in chief, called out Platner on X possibly in response to Platner’s insinuation about taking legal action:

“You are a pathological liar. You lied about your Nazi tattoo, which you knew for 18 years was a Nazi tattoo. You’re still lying about it. You lied about how you purchased your home. You lied about being ‘working class.’ You lied dozens of times about Susan Collins ‘sending you to war.’ I think the 6-12 adulterous sexting relationships probably count as lies. You lied about your oyster hobby. And when it comes to the allegations of domestic violence leveled against you, your denials lack credibility. Because you’re a pathological liar.”

As alluded to above, Platner has accused Sen. Collins of sending him to war, but as Robinson’s colleague Fetherston asserted today, “Platner voluntarily enlisted in the military twice and later returned to the Middle East a third time as a military contractor.”

Robinson also claims that Platner’s Graham for Senate website was created in 2023 and his “fake oyster front website” was created in 2024. “That oyster site should be filed on his FEC reports because it’s just a part of the working class costume he’s wearing to trick Mainers,” Robinson added.

[Among his media credentials, Robinson was the executive producer for longtime Boston talk show host Howie Carr and then worked at Barstool Sports as podcast producer before returning to Maine.]

For certain progressive activists, Platner was not even their first choice to challenge Collins. Ironically, their original option ended up supposedly having a skeleton in his closet.

Sen. Collins should be someone that Democrats and Democrat-adjacent independents like a lot. She’s a moderate with RINO tendencies, such voting against the SAVE America Act on Friday.

She also voted to convict President Trump in impeachment number two and voted against the nominations of SecWar Pete Hegseth and now-Justice Amy Coney Barrett, both of whom were obviously nominated by President Trump.

Sen. Collins is, however, probably responsible for putting Trump nominee Brett Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court in 2018, after an influential speech. Back then, Democrats were fixated on the believe-all-women mantra.

In a May 31 article on Substack, longtime journalist Robert Stacy McCain addressed the ramifications of a potential or perhaps risky Platner replacement scenario:

“…The septuagenarian Maine senator is arguably the most liberal Republican in Congress, and has represented Maine in the Senate for 30 years. Conservatives don’t much care for her, but she can be arm-twisted for crucial votes (e.g., Supreme Court nominees) and this is enough to make her a target for Democrats, who have never yet found a candidate who could beat her…

“If Collins somehow survives in November, the chances of Democrats controlling the Senate are not very good at all. This explains why so many progressives, anxious to bring a halt to the Trump agenda, are demonizing Collins as a way to rationalize their support for Mr. Nazi Tattoo in Maine. Yet it also explains why more sensible Democrats, realizing that Platner’s scandals are likely to make him unelectable, are trying to push him out and replace him…

“If the Democrats do a repeat of their 2024 Biden-Harris switcheroo, it once again highlights the undemocratic methods which Democrats are willing to use in order to ‘save our democracy,’ as they claim to be doing. What’s the point of voting in a Democratic primary if party insiders are going to impose their own chosen candidate?…

Parenthetically, Graham Platner didn’t ink himself with just any Nazi tattoo.

The latter is reportedly the abhorrent insignia worn by concentration camp guards.

It’s ironic that Democrats who seem nonchalant about a Nazi tattoo were outraged over Hegseth’s tattoo that was an expression of his Christian faith.
