The House Oversight Committee on Thursday released transcripts from interviews with former Attorney General Pam Bondi and Tova Noel, one of the prison guards assigned to the facility where Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in 2019.
The interviews were conducted last month as part of the committee’s review of federal investigations involving Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, according to the Washington Examiner.
Noel was interviewed May 18. Bondi’s interview took place May 29, 2026.
Noel was one of two guards working at the prison where Epstein, a convicted sex offender, was found dead of an alleged suicide in 2019. During her interview with lawmakers, Noel said she believed she was the last person to see Epstein alive.
The committee released the full Bondi transcript and the full Noel transcript as part of its ongoing examination of how federal officials handled matters connected to Epstein and Maxwell.
The release adds new public documentation to the committee’s broader review of the federal investigations and prison circumstances surrounding Epstein’s death.
