The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that its troops have conducted more than 100 targeted strikes in southern Lebanon in recent days, resulting in the deaths of approximately 20 militants and the seizure of large quantities of weapons.

According to the IDF, Israeli forces established positions in the areas of Zawtar al-Sharqiya and Zawtar al-Gharbiyah as part of ongoing operations aimed at disrupting militant activity near the border.

The announcement follows another operation on Monday in which Israel said it eliminated Mohammed Mousa Mteirek, a commander within Hezbollah’s missile unit.
